    We visited in Sept 2019 and found this hotel a perfect location for a short stay in this location. The bus stop for both directions was right outside. Only €1.70 in to Chania and €3.70 to the airport - The beach was right out front with loungers and parasols for hire 300 yards up the beach. Not too many restaurants but enough for a short stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff polite, helpful and friendly. The manageress was always around to engage with the residents ensure they made the most of their stay.     "A wonderful hotel with great staff and what a view"

    We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Porto Alegre Hotel. The room 307 on the side of the 3rd floor was large, spacious and well appointed. A good size tv, 2 jobs, sink and fridge. Large balcony with a side sea view. Good size bathroom with a shower in the bath. Good air-conditions and marble floor. The breakfast on the roof terrace was continental and very good.     Really bad experience at the hotel

    I would sencirely recomand to avoid staying at this hotel. The air condition didn't work all night, it was like hell!!!!!!! We called and the resepcionist came and saw at 24;00 and saw that it's not working and still they insisted that it is working, we were shocked... and amazed by their behavior. Such lack of integrity, it was insulting. Aside, the breakfast was really simple. They offered 5 euro as compensation....redicules 😒 Stay out that's my advise to you. ... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
