    Average size hotel with decent facilities but below average food

    Booked for the 26th Jan weekend, and stayed in Room 401. Had booked for 1 night with two meals in the package. Reached the hotel around 3.30, check-in was a breeze. Seems the hotel was also hosting some marriage or private function in the basement area. Room size was decent, though the tap in the wash basin was loose. Wife had forgotten her toothbrush, so was about to go to get it for her when I got to know from Room service staff that they provide a toothbrush kit on demand (strange, should have been provided in the first instance). Room has facilities for tea and coffee making and two 500 ml bottles of mineral water are provided free everyday. We went to choki dhani but came back to the hotel hoping to having a nice dinner at the hotel itself. Well, thats where all hopes crashed. They have only one restaurant on the ground floor with decent seating area but we were surprised to see no buffet. Staffs excuse was that due to low occupancy, there was no buffet laid out (even though we saw a lot of guests arriving at the hotel). The staff provided us with a preset menu card which had some dishes we could order from. We were tired after the drive from Delhi and kids were very hungry. Ordered noodles for my daughter, and other items from the preset menu and sat down to wait. 15 mins, no service, 30 mins no service. After 40 mins, i had to finally ask when would the food arrive, by which time my daughter was almost half-asleep. Even had to call the restaurant manager to tell him. Finally after around 50 mins, the food arrived, but lo and behold, shahi paneer instead of the veg dish we had ordered. By that time, we were ready to eat anything, we were so hungry. We had ordered a chicken dish also but it was the worst of all. Not properly marinated, no taste. Dinner turned out to be pathetic. When we asked for small spoons to have ice-cream, we were provided one small spoon (which should be ideal size for having desserts) and one large table spoon (imagine having ice-cream with a large table spoon, hilarious!!!). The staff also seemed very tired, so we just ate what was there and left. The next morning breakfast was decent, However, sorely missed dosas (only idli was available, maybe was expecting too much). Overall, a decent hotel in a quiet neighborhood. There were some guests near in our room who were enjoying themselves singing at the top of their voice but thankfully, our room was well sound insulated so we didnt hear anything once the door was closed. Had a nice sleep. If only they can provide decent food, make some arrangements for some activities for kids, and have their bath fittings properly checked, it would become a good hotel from just an ok hotel. I wont be staying there anytime again, thats for sure.... More

    We have stayed here in 26th January,19. We have celebrated 50th anniversary of my Nana Ji , Hotel is well maintain . room and amininities was excellent , services very fast as per expectations.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
