    Nice Location but Hectic stay

    I made last minute reservation in Ooty. Every hotel was booked in the city centre till 1st week of January. Fortunately I got rooms in Maneck hotel but the rooms were miserable. They don't provide clean bed sheets or towels. The room is worse than you see in photos. They take everything in advance & fully. You arrive at hotel or book a cab before journey, they take full payment in the beginning. So, in my opinion, they must reduce the price to half or even less for standard/ deluxe rooms for the service they provide. Secondly, they must be punctual in every aspects. The driver they provide should pick you up in time which I badly experienced in my case. Thirdly & most important thing, the owner or manager should never ever be of money oriented mind. You should provide good service to gain good customers. I didn't see any single aspect where this hotel even score 1 out of 5. Only thing I like is the location. Except it, I was not totally satisfied with this stay.... More

    Location: Other eateries, main market was nearby at walkable distance. Room: Really big and nice for such budget. Room interior was so beautiful. Service: Hot water was not available as geyser was not working. But the boys carried buckets of water to each room. Was a little frustrating. Food: fresh and good. Restaurant needs improvement.     Third class hotel. Very poor room service. Staying in this hotel means facing worst experience in your life. No own food service. Have one Jain restaurant in basement. Very filthy. High charges but when reached in room you got colder foods.... More

    Ooty Sightseeing & Stay at Hotel Maneck at Ooty

    I visited Ooty with my family during May 2017 to get rid off that scratching heat in Bangalore. We stayed in Hotel Maneck with a prior reservation for 3 days which is very nearer to Ooty Railway station & Bus stand. Hotel Maneck has nice & clean Rooms for family stay. Hotel has nice conducted your arrangements either by Taxi or by Mini Van. We enjoyed 3 days Ooty trip in Van. One to Mudumalai Safari,another day complete Ooty Sightseeing & Third day Connor,Mettupalyam trip. All trips are very cheap costing ₹500,₹600 & ₹750 per seat very economical compared to Ooty Call Taxi which is costlier. We had good shopping & purchased Pure Honey,Ayurveda Medicines,Tea powder of different variety & famous Ooty Vergeese Bakery item & home made chocolates,Woollen Sweaters. We tasted different variety of fruits. All the above are reasonable prices when compared at Bangalore & more over many Ooty fruits are not available in Blr.Spicy items are very cheap here & are original W/o adulteration.Original Saffron's are very cheap. All the items we purchased during the tour at TEA factory & Chackolate Factory visit by tasting the all free samples provided by Factory. Factory visit are very informative where in we can see stages of TEA powder & Chackolate Manufacturing. Any how,nice trip arrangement by Hotel Maneck. We recommend Hotel Maneck for happy & pleasant family stay at Ooty & enjoy summer vacation... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
