    Do not stay here if you want to sleep

    After arriving slightly unprepared in Jaipur it took us about an hour to find an OK place to stay. Hotel Mahendra seemed acceptable for the price, however for a few hundred rupees more you can get a room in a much nicer place. After checking in we saw a terrible review on TripAdvisor but still felt we should give it a try. Having said that the room seemed a bit worn down and dirty. There was no internet facility but that didn't bother us either. What made us leave after one night was absolutely horrible noises throughout the whole night. The party stopped around midnight only to continue from 3am onwards. Also a room service guy barged in to our room and even though we insisted that we are fine and don't need any food or drinks he kept hassling us for 10minutes. At that point it became clear why the guy at the reception asked for a very high deposit (2k rupees), he just knew we would want to.leave after one night.... More

    Terrible experience

    I had the misfortune of staying in this hotel for just one night and the experience was terrible. Not only the passage to the room, but the room's walls, bed sheet, pillows, bathroom, mirrors, water jug...........everything was dirty. Plus, there was so much of noise outside the room. I had told the reception in advance that I would be checking out early (at 5.00 AM) the next day because I had to catch a train that would leave at 6.00 AM. I kept on calling the reception before leaving my room and no body picked up the phone.Even when I reached the reception, I had to wait for 10 minutes before two very unfriendly, unkempt, unprofessional looking people appeared. I was shocked when told that I had to pay for a mineral water bottle, although I had not ordered any. They insisted that I pay the amount and were very rude. When I objected, I was told to wait till 10.00 AM to resolve the matter!!! When I said I am not going to recommend your hotel to anyone and that I would write a bad review about it, they told me to go to hell!!! It is not just this hotel, most budget hotels in this country have a 'I just don't care about you' attitude.... More

  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
