    We had a family function in October and had a room booking at this hotel. 1. The pricing is about average that you get in this locality. About Rs.2500 per night which is pretty decent. 2. The location is a major advantage since the hotel is located right on ECR. Banks, ATMs, shops are all accessible at walking distance. 3. The rooms are clean, but have mosquitoes and insects. Room service is good and timely. 4. Food is pretty OK. There are better restaurants nearby. If you can walk, there are quite a few options where you get better food at reasonable prices.     Be wary of thirdparty bookings

    I clicked on the booking link from Tripadvisor which took me to Cleatrip and prompty did the booking. But when I reached the hotel, they said they do not accept bookings from Cleartrip! Called Cleartrip, and after 15 minutes on phone, they refunded the amount. Ultimately stayed in the same place as they had rooms available. One weird thing is that they asked me if me and my wife are really married to each other, and asked for identity cards of both. The stay itself was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean.     Closed Minded Hotel Management in "Cosmopolitan City"

    I stayed at this hotel during the summer of 2012. I came to Chennai with my Tamilian boyfriend (I am a white American girl), excited to see the capital of his home state. Unfortunately, I had to stay ALONE in this hotel, as the management told us that men and women could not stay together overnight unless they were married. My boyfriend even came up to my room to help me with my bags and the hotel desk rang my room to tell me that he had to leave since we are not married. I cannot believe that a huge, cosmopolitan city like Chennai would impose such an arcane and exclusive rule. I also think that they might not have imposed such a rule on two white tourists but because I am white and my boyfriend is brown, they did. In addition, the WiFi was terrible and when I went to pay they added an additional service charge (on top of the VAT) which was not advertised in the brochure they showed me when I decided to stay there. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
