    Staff throwing garbage into the river!!

    My boyfriend's friend booked the room at this resort. I read the reviews after the room was booked already. I wasn't expecting much after that but I would like to share my experience. The reason we booked this resort is that everywhere else was full. We had one of the rooms right beside the river. The view was nice but most everything else was pretty unsatisfactory. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entering the room I felt kind of disgusted. The room wasn't very clean and there were cobwebs in the bathroom and dust on the light switch & refrigerator. Although there was a new nice TV (pretty small screen) but new and nice. The volume was messed up. It would automatically turn down without anyone pressing the buttons so not able to hear the TV. ALSO there is NO TABLE in the room! I think they should have some kind of desk or table to place things on since we are staying in the room we need some place other than the floor to put stuff down. That night we decided to just have dinner at the resort because the menu looked pretty good and we were tiring from the activities we did during the day. We were the first customers that evening. They didn't have so many different dishes that we tried to order. It's like they weren't prepared for their guests. Not only that but their staff can't speak Thai (or English) --This being Thailand, I don't expect everyone to speak English but they couldn't speak Thai either. Even asking for simple things in Thai (such as MENU) But all of that..wasn't too bad but the next morning we planned to have the breakfast buffet and it was to start at 7am. We come to eat about 7:25 or so and the staff still had not cleaned up the mess from the night before, they were in the process of doing that at 7:25am! As we were walking I saw a staff member in a blue hoodie just throwing the garbage into the river that is alongside the restaurant. That really shocked me!!! I couldn't believe that they are surrounded by such beautiful nature and they just ruin it with their ignorance or laziness or maybe a combination of both! On top of that, there was NO BREAKFAST! They didn't really have any excuse and took off the breakfast amount from our bill. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Khao Yai is full of resorts and if you can't find any other place I would suggest you just wait or go to another province instead!... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
