Supportive staff and walkable to historical places

Nice property with very friendly and supportive staff. Owner directly looks after the property and is reachable everytime. Very supportive as we required tempo traveller for next day and we called him up the previous day at 8:00 PM, although we understand this was quite late request considering the high season but he got arranged the tempo traveller at a very competitive rates.
I called him for other helps and he immediately responded and got those requests completed.
I advice you all to take help from them in advance while planning a visit to udaipur, they can plan your trip nicely and trust them. We worked upon their advice and we could cover maximum places within 3 days.
Wardrobes are not available in maximum of the rooms.
Homely type kitchen with 2-3 cooks so it may take time for them to prepare bfast for many people. so its advisable to slot the bfast in the group of 4 people each.
In bfast included (they only provide one parantha with curd and one tea OR one bread omlette with tea) rest all is on use and pay basis. so pls plan accordingly.

Visited this hotel in Udaipur as a part of my solo trip in December 2019. I enjoyed 3 nights stay in this very well managed hotel which is having beautifully painted room with colored window glass and lovely view of city palace in the night from roof top of the hotel.
Popular city palace, jagdish temple Bagori ki haveli is just little walk away from hotel.
This is lovely place with great relaxed atmosphere but make it very special is the help and hospitality of the every staff at hotel.
This hotel also have a beautiful ART gallery and offers classes of yoga, cooking and painting. They also gave me a small demonstration of nail art.
Overall this is a safe place to solo women traveler like me. I want to Thanks to the owner Shiv from this hotel as well as Raju Pinku shankar omprakash and everyone at
Hotel Janak Niwas who was helpful and Supportive during my visit. I am wishing a great year 2020 to all of you.

We stayed this place for 2 nights, Very good and cool place to stay. Owner and staff members are very polite and cooperative. Also visited their art gallery and bought some beautiful Mewad Miniatures from them. If anyone finding a peaceful place to stay near city palace, this is the place. Thanks Mr.Shiv for your hospitality and support.
Nice place to stay and friendly people here

I stayed here for 3 nights and my stays was really comfortable and happy.
I arrived at 8am and they allow me to early check in which is so nice for me after an early morning transit flight from Delhi.
The room size is big with a double bed and attached bathroom. There is ac and ceiling fan too. Bathroom is clean and the water pressure is good with hot water.
Sanju is the person in charge and he will assist on any enquiry in related to place to visit, itinerary and best thing to do with cheaper price. He is also an artist and running an art gallery in the hotel. He is happy to show and teach you on painting if you are interested. I did my very first elephant drawing and painting with the help of Raju, he is also an artist who is patiently guiding me along the way until my final outcome.
The location of the hotel is ideal just 5 minutes walk to Jagdish temple and 10 minutes to the ticket counter of city palace. There are lot of groceries shops and eating places nearby too.
There is a rooftop cafe with an amazing view of city palace which look charming both in the morning and night.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Udaipur, here is a good choice with all the facilities and friendly people running this place.
