I had a pleasant stay and the staff were pleasant and polite and helpful. Mr Sidhu was very helpful. The bathroom were clean. It was a nice place to get away from the husle and bustle of life. I would definitely be back to stay. It was lovely to use the hot pool.

We googled and found this place for Ayurvedic Treatment. It was the most awe inspiring experience. We had driven in from Shimla. I have had many Ayurvedic experiences, but this one was undoubtedly the best. Really serene and pristine location with the most hygienic and experienced Ayurvedic Treatment area. Lalit Bharadwaj stands out as an exceptional masseur. The whole experience was excellent and the food was great. Highly recommended. We will be back.
Perfect hotel for relaxation of body and mine

A very nice hotel with very nice staff. Mr Satpal welcome us with refreshing juice. A very good lake view room allotted to us. Rooms are very spacious, neat and clean with all modern amenities. We stayed here for 2 days only but these two days are full with lots of good memories. Food is also very tempting and hygienic. We enjoyed rafting and boating. The best thing about the hotel is its hot spring pool which relax your body and mind. Their in-house Ayurvedic massage treatment center is a gem of hotel. Go there for nothing to do but only relax.
Hotel has ample parking.

Hotel Sandhya Hot Spring resort is a well maintained property for a relaxing lake side stay. The resort has every facility with nice lake facing rooms. Rooms are specious, neat and clean for a perfect refreshing stay. The Hotel also has ample parking space. The market is very near and location is quite good.
The staff is very helpful and always attentive. The hotel has health care and spa with hot spring pool to bathe.
I stayed here for 1 day which was very refreshing. I recommend this resort for anybody who want to be with nature and experience an amazing hot water spring pool!

Sandhya Hot Springs is one of the only hotels in India to provide a clean and hygenic experience of hot springs. The public hot springs at Badrinath and other places are always crowded and as such don't allow you to experience the healing and relaxing effects these waters provide.
It was a spontaneous trip born out of my longing to visit a hot-spring after watching how popular these types experiences are in Japan, where it is considered equal to going to a spa. Its perfect to visit when you are stressed out. A few minutes in the pleasantly hot water will soothe away all your body pains and it leaves your skin glowing, softer and smoother.
The best part was when we discovered the extremely affordable rates at their in-house Ayurvedic massage treatment center. I felt like experiencing every type of treatment that was on offer since it was so affordable. But the hot spring had relaxed me enough. So I I only went with the full body massage which was the best Ayurvedic massage I have had till date (my previous horror stories of Ayurvedic massages are saved for later).
About the hotel, it was clean, the staff were hospitable and friendly, the food was excellent(only vegetarian though because it is supposed to be Ayurvedic healing center). Hot phulkas, authentic north Indian dhal and bhajjis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We got a complimentary upgrade to river view of the Sutlej which was breathtaking. And all we did was SPA-out the entire time. Dips in the pool, wash up, eat, sleep, massage, dip, wash up, eat and repeat for three days. It was amazing. That coming from me who doesn't go to the parlour for like months together unless a wedding or something is coming along. It truly is an experience to have atleast once in our lifetime. I totally want to go back again.
There is not much sight seeing to do. Like no shopping, nothing. Its just a tiny village out in the middle of the hills. There used to be a Shiva cave which had stalagmites and stalactites in it but now it is submerged due to the government's dam project on the Sutlej. There are however treks, river rafting and biking. We didn't do that because we came there to relax.
The cons?? .... because we didn't get a flight to Shimla we had to endure the long winding drive in the Himalayas all the way from Chandigarh. So pro tip is to try your best to land at Shimla. From there its just a 2 hour winding drive. I get motion sick so the drive there and back was the worst and yet I still want to go back. Don't go on boat ride. Its a waste of time and money. Also if you are into shopping you will be disappointed. Though if you make time you can head down to Shimla on the way back and shop to your hearts content. We also expected the weather to be cold but it wasn't. It is just like Bangalore weather.
So all in all, lovely place, lovely experience. Good for going with friends, family, couples alone everything. Go when the weather is good. Learn about the history of the place. There is a lot apparently, though not everyone know. I really appreciate the fact that there is atleast one place in India, which provides such a nice experience of hot springs.
