This is up in the hills away from the crowd and the traffic. The scenic beauty from the window of your bedroom will make you fall in love with nature yet again. The floral smell of freshness and balcony view of the snow-clad mountains is just amazing. Must visit. The mall road is walk-able distance away and the closest restaurant Il Ferno is a treat to your stomach. The rooms are very comfortable and royal.
Stay away from this hotel

This was a last minute booking. We stayed here only for a night as the preferred hotel was only available from next day.
I would rate this as the worst hotel in manali
Dirty bathroom with a broken seat, non operational flush, leaking pipes... Torn carpet.
For the third person, though we had booked an extra bed, we were just given a mattress and the person had to sleep on the floor.
No fan in the room.
No room service available after about 9pm!!!
In a nutshell - stay away from this hotel unless you want to spoil your holiday...
Maximum bang for your buck!

Hotel Himland is located in bylane that can be easily missed among the narrow lanes that are leading to the Circuit House in Manali. Sandwiched between Hotel Gilbert and Kanishka, it doesn't paint a pretty picture if you are looking for a holiday resort. This however is budget travelling at its best.
The rooms are cozy, spacious and clean. The lighting is dim and is not ideal for those who read to bed however perfect for those who are simply looking for a comforting ambience to relax after those tiring walks on the placid slopes in and around Manali.
The Hadimba temple and Old Manali are within 30 minutes walking distance while the Manali Mall is 15 minutes away. Thus the location is central yet away from the hustle and bustle of those haunts located right on the National Highway. Parking is on the house, though it may get congested if you have an SUV or MUV. Turning requires considerable skill so do practice a bit before planning a self driven trip to Manali.
The Room Service is quick, the Menu covers the regular fare like Dal, Paranthas, Toasted Bread and your regular Paneer versions. The Cost is cheap and you can easily have one or two meals in the hotel itself during your stay. The Management is soft spoken, homely and cooperative. They try to pay attention to details and make sure your queries are addressed adequately.
Overall it offers you one of the best budget experience that you can get in Manali. Must visit if you are travelling with family and want to stay in a single room.
Doesn't burn a hole in your pocket

Located just 5 minutes away from the Main Mall Road, the hotel is worth a visit if you plan to go to MANALI on a tight budget. The standout feature is its nice and cosy rooms. The people and their service were nice overall. Also, the main tourist spots are in the near range of the hotel.
