    I travel to Chennai very often for work and I try different places to stay and try local food. This is a budget hotel. A very pocket-friendly hotel with bare minimum essentials. Rooms are good, well ventilated but not very spacious. The staff could be better and the rooms and washrooms can be much hygienically maintained. Overall a very average hotel.... More

    I and my friend had a trip planned to pondicherry. We decided to stay back the day we landed i chennai and take an early morning bus to pondicherry. After reading all the reviews from trip advisor, i decided to book this hotel. The hotel location is very good. Exactly in the market place and marina beach is 15min walking distance or auto costs 40 bucks to reach the beach. We checked into the hotel on 19th july at about 3pm in the afternoon.. we were given our room after filling up the register. The room is quite big in respect of any standard ac room. The room was clean and also had an attached balcony facing the main road. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and made our stay comfortable.     Disgusting, bugs, and very rude staff

    We had an awful experience here... arrived to Chennai around 8am and stopped at the front desk to ask about early check in; they were extremely rude and short with us when asking for our passports and information, raising their voice at me with an angry face when I didn't understand what they wanted me to write on their papers. We waited about 10 minutes in silence as they did their paperwork and said not a single word to us and ignored all our questions. It felt like we were being booked for a night in jail.. When we finally got to our room the man opened the door, turned the light on, threw a bar of soap on the bed and then slammed the door behind him as he left. We tried to ignore all the cobwebs in the room and decided to shower, only their were no towels, many spiders and mosquitoes in the bathroom, and there was NO WATER for the shower. So we decided to rest in bed for a bit before walking around the area... after laying in bed for 5 minutes we were both bit by the dozens of ants that were crawling all over the bed. We tried to shake them out and to check the rest of the bed for any bugs- luckily just ants. But the pillows were absolutely DISGUSTING!! They were stained brown and yellow completely, and smelled of urine, obviously have never been cleaned or replaced since god knows when. At this point we decided to leave- our 45 minute stay was more than long enough. When we came down to inform the manager that we could not stay in our room, he immediately started yelling at me to pay him for the room. He didn't offer to move us to another room or anything. I understand that our reservation still requires us to pay for the night that we booked, but how rude to immediately demand that someone pay you in cash! Especially for a dirty room infested with BUGS and no water!! Rude staff, disgusting rooms... no 'value' for price here- I gladly paid the 600 rps just to leave this place. ... More

    Really Good budget Hotel

    I stayed here for 7 days in two different rooms. It is a budget Hotel, but a really good one! We bought room in advance over tripAdvisor Room: big, furnitured, clean, TV (one room with blurry english Channels, other one good), AC available, balcony (even though it feels more Like an oven), european Toilet, one room had more water in shower than the other one (Luck?) Staff: nice and helpful, gave us a different room when the Fan broke Down, could extend stay without stress Location: restaurants and Shops nearby, Walking distance to the beach and different malls Downside: no WiFi, desk Lady told us the second room was super deluxe. Except for Hot water all day we didnt See the difference to the standart one... More

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
