A real heritage property run by a real family.... no fakes and no gimmicks

Atmosphere - Real heritage building full of beautiful antiques and rugs. Delightful owner with old school charm and manners
Service - Nice polite and efficient
Location - Excellent. 8 minute walk from Civil Lines Metro
Wifi - Simple to connect, reasonably fast and reliable
Maintenance - Some minor maintenance issues. Nothing serious.
We chose this place because it is near to an Academy we needed to visit. Very convenient from airport to Civil Lines by Metro. The place has a very nice small garden with lily pond. The house is old and is full of lovely antiques and amazing persian carpets.
The family that owns the property are delightful. They are very old school in their good manners and hospitality. Really lovely B&B with the genuine ambiance of a homestay.
Not a place for modern "new money" families with spoilt brats in tow. This is not a place of entertainment for the socially crippled. A simple and calm atmosphere for those who know how to put down their smartphones and talk to one another.
Being a small B&B they cook food to order. If you want some fancy food there are a couple of very posh restaurants next to Civil Lines Metro station.
calm homely stay

Rooms are good where u can get home cooked food with preorder becoz its owner stays there itself. Campus is small but very cosy and green, rooms are bit old but fairly maintained (not too good though), wifi is very fast and consistent. But drawback is room service which can be availed by mobile number of a staff (no reception/ housekeeping/ restaurant number). Food you need to order well in advance otherwise u cant get. You will get home like feeling staying there instead of a hotel thats best part of it. Also its too near from Vidhan sabha metro on main road.

We stayed for just 1 night. The room was on the ground floor and it was big and air conditioned, old fashioned.
However, the place was a bit dusty and the breakfast was very limited menu.
Staff was friendly.

Old bunglow turned inn.. very good interiors, old furniture but in good shape, has garden and located on main road near two metro stations. Very good place for getaway with family or as a couple. Leisure stay. No swimming pool. Food good. Service not exceptional but good.
Great Hotel / inn

I stayed in Delhi prior to my trip to Jaipur and picked this hotel as it was located further out and near Old Delhi. Although the location did not suit me personally, the stay was still pretty good. The room was nothing special because the room i booked was already taken due to an error. So, i ended up with the basic room which was smaller and not as good all round.
The hotel itself is very well designed with a small garden full of palms and plants as well as a small pond full of fish. One can walk about and enjoy the inside which is rather like a museum in some regards. There is a restaurant on the upper floor with a balcony view. This is quite large and quite cool with a good view of the road and grounds. The food is high quality and good portions. They are quite flexible for feeding times and would ask me what time i wished to have lunch and dinners. As well as this, i was asked if i would like a Masala Chai tea from time to time and was served those regularly outside and in my room. It is very good masala, too.
The staff are really nice and helpful .Even the security guy made me a masala tea at times and asked how i was. There is always someone cleaning and keeping things in order but the place itself is pretty quiet although the main road outside is very noisy.
For the price, it is quite decent. Although you do have to make sure you book meals when you book online as they will be charged to you upon leaving. The prices are quite good, though. You are near to the old railway station here as well. There are some stalls and shops on this road in walking time of about 3 to 5 minuets.
Make sure you confirm your booking with the hotel itself and not just your email confirmation.
It could do with new TV's in the older rooms.
