    Worst stay experienced - Stay away…!!!

    Recently stayed with Hotel Grand Ambience (3*Hotel), I selected this property viewing 4+* reviews on Trip advisor. Initially booked for 03 nights but then left this hotel spending only 01 night because we have got really worst service from hotel staff & their management. Why we left the reasons r below. 1. AC was not working initially – after requesting frequently then they start our room AC. 2. Television service was completely down till we left; they tried to put on the services start but failed to start. 3. Being 3*star hotel they should provide variety of items in breakfast but they served us cold POHA and that too came requesting after 01 hour. 4. No hot water completely, we requested staff to come in & look but he clearly ignored us hence we took shower in cold water only. 5. This hotel was booked by Makemy Trip hence I spoke to Customer care of MMT & asked them to sort out above issues or change our room which hotel management denied doing so. Here MMT also failed to resolve this issue hence I asked MMT for refund. My final Review is I will never recommend this hotel to my family or friends in future.... More

    this is a good hotel if you want a hotel in the old city, this hotel is situated near lal darwaja which is part of old ahmedabad, hotel is very good, and if you are on budget, this is perfect place for you, breakfast was also very good, i would suggest this hotel considering you do want to stay near old ahmedabad in the city...     Once again a good deal. Visited 2nd time just after 3 months and great experience again. Checkin - Smooth Room - Good and Clean Bathroom slippers - No Bathroom - Ok Room Clock - No Tea and Coffee - No kettle or complimentary Tea & Coffee Wifi - Only for one device, so you cannot have both mobile and laptop on internet Room AC - Good TV & Dish - Did not use Breakfast - Ok, not in room but in restaurant which is good.     I am giving 5 stars instead of 4, due to hospitality of Front Desk person Mr. Samar Gupta Good hotel, good for the deal I got. Good location, but crowded most of the times. I would like to add that this was the best ever experience with OYO I had till date. Mr. Samar Gupta from the hotel front desk went out the way to show his hospitality which I really appreciate. Best I have seen till date specially from OYO brand.   5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
