    The only things working in favour of Hotel Golden Sagar is relatively cheap tariffs for solo travellers and close proximity to BKC, nothing else. The hotel is located on this busy road, overlooking the railway tracks, so there's a constant noise/buzz in the rooms. The crowd outside the hotel (comprising mainly cab and truck drivers, small shop owners) is not the best. The room I got (room 207) had this irritating damp and musty smell, which I presume may be the case in other rooms as well. Every time I entered the room, I was greeted with this burst of dampness/musty smell. The room itself was small, sufficient for a single person. Bathroom was ok-ok. There were a few mosquitoes as well. The staff is generally courteous, but do not expect them to showcase pleasantries or friendliness. This hotel made sense for me as I was on a solo trip for a weekend concert to Mumbai at Jio Garden and was outside the whole time, just returned to this hotel to sleep and nothing else. Also, a very cheap option for travellers like me, close to BKC and the airport. Definitely NOT recommended for couples/families/groups of friends... More

    This hotel comes under Budget category and in this category this is the Best.The room service is very very very good.People are very very helpful and Management is always eager to help they dont charge extra money at all..This is not for romantic night spending but for business travellers and couples ...Location wise is good but Kurla(west) is an industrial area hence you need to drive till sion if want any good restaurant...Cabs ready avaliable....     Very disappointing stay. We was booked in for 2 night but we decided to check out after the first night. We arrived off our train in Mumbai at 2.30pm and the prearranged taxi wasn't to be found. So after calling the hotel I had to tell them we was booked in for that day, although they said it wasn't until the following night. They reluctantly sent a guy on a motor bike who didn't speak a work of English and just shoved us in a ricksure. We arrived at the hotel at 3.30 which is on a very busy main road and next to a loud mosque we checked in and went to find our room, carrying our own bags up 2 flights of stairs whilst the staff lay on the floor in the corridors! Which also smell as the kitchen is on the same floor as the rooms and actually smells like a toilet. On opening our door much to our surprise, we find the room hasn't even been cleaned from the previous stay. Dirty bed linen screwed up on the beds and a dirty wet bathroom. They last room must have only just checked out as we came in. So we talk to the guy behind the reception who just says there are not any other rooms. Like this one will have to do. We call for the manager who says we can have a better room but we will have to wait 2 HOURS in the dirty room for a different room to be cleaned! I didn't eat here for obvious reasons. Even though they tryed to charge us for another rooms good when checking out.. Summed up. Very small Dirty rooms, bad staff, not close to anything worth seeing, unorganized. No hot water in our room. Moved to a much better hotel in marine drive for the same price and walking distance to India gate.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
