    This place is wonderful. I had a room on the second floor but I would suggest a room on the top floor so you can see the ocean. Everything was clean. The rooms were inexpensive and everyone was very nice and helpful. They even arranged a ride for us to and from Konark to see the Sun Temple, it cost maybe 1200 rupees. It is near the beach but they are unused enough to foreigners that everyone will stare at you. They're just curious though and if you smile most will smile back. Highly recommend this relatively inexpensive hotel. And DO order their food. ... More

    Very good hotel in Puri. Rooms are very clean with free WiFi. Only a short walk away from the beach.There is also a large swimming pool where you can relax. Staff is helpful and friendly.Overall highly recommended.... More

    The Gandhara is a great place to stay if you are in Puri well located and close to the beach Very clean, lovely swimming pool, helpful and attentive staff. There’s a really ancient dog called lika who everyone loves and helps as he’s deaf and gone in the back legs Very inexpensive rates and includes breakfast either Indian or Anglo. Also they do lunch and dinner. The manager is very helpful with organising transport for your day trips at a doable rates Highly recommend the French Fries and Pakoras All round very good 5stars no worries... More

    Enjoyed our one night stay at Gandhara. Despite the aftermath of the cyclone (Fani) the hotel was squeaky clean with the rooms being well maintained. We were served lovely food from the small but intimate kitchen and All staff members were always happy to help. The honour bar was great for us to get water and soft drinks in the middle of the night. With the atmosphere being so homely, our 4 year old took an instant liking to the place and the in-house canine friend who goes by the name ‘Limca’. Communication is quite good with an auto stand literally diagonally opposite the hotel. We will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to quaint and simple place to stay.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
