    We stayed at this very conveniently located hotel for three nights. The rooms are very spartan and the beds were not all that comfortable as they were hard as concrete. Our room had no air conditioning and was fairly clean. As this hotel has a central staircase shaft, we found that sound, even from the ground floor echoed up to the rooms. The views from the roof top restaurant were exceptional and the food in the restaurant was also very good. Service at the hotel and in the restaurant was above average.... More

    Beautiful hotel very romantic view of the river from our room The room is first class as was the welcome from the hotel owner and his staff After a long trip by our taxi driver it was a pleasure to be shown to our room and have a fantastic hot shower and rest on our comfortable bed wi fi here is very fast and strong signal as well so we relaxed watching Netflix Then it was up to the roof top restaurant witch was truly amazing views the staff nothing was to much trouble for them really made to feel comfortable The food was fantastic I had a veg sizzler witch was so tasty and plenty of very fresh veg All of our stay I have to say was a pleasure we have traveled a lot in India and this hotel is by far the very best we have stayed in a first class hotel First class staff First class food And first class wi fi We will definitely be staying here again and Would highly recommend This hotel to everyone Thank you hotel Gai Vilas ...     Gaj vilas is a clean, comfortable and well located hotel. The views from the rooftop restaurant are exceptional. The reception and restaurant staff are also very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk across the footbridge to the old town.... More

    Poor experience overall throughout our three night stay. Rooms are fine and the location is good. Poor wifi, very slow or often not available. Reception staff are very rude. Chatting to each other and making us wait whilst we are waiting to check in. We arrived in the evening and the staff lied that there were no restaurants open so that we should eat at their hotel. We ignored their comments as we had researched closing times beforehand and there were plenty of restaurants open in the vicinity. Also, the WiFi password given to us in the beginning didn’t work on our devices as the password provided was wrong but they continued to insist that this was an issue of our devices or that we must have typed it in wrong. Only after a long discussion they acknowledged that they had given us the wrong password. Breakfast service is extremely slow. Had an issue with hot water in the morning but this got fixed. Overall a fairly unpleasant experience and would not recommend.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
