    Worst hotel staff I've ever met

    We booked this hotel a week before our check-in date and a couple of days later received a call at 2am from an unknown number, with no message left on the voicemail. The day we travelled we received an email saying our reservation had been cancelled because we didn't answer the call. Baffled, we re-booked the room and send a note to the hotel confirming we would be arriving in 6 hours' time, and explaining we were about to board a 5 hour flight from Malaysia so if they again tried to contact us we wouldn't see the call. When we arrived at the hotel, we were immediately shocked by how dirty the reception was. We tried to shrug it off and stay positive, but were then met by the rudest reception staff I have ever met. They told us our booking had been cancelled because we hadn't answered the call to confirm and there was nothing they could do. We tried explaining that we had said a msg to confirm our booking, but none of the staff spoke enough English to understand. They kept leaning towards us and loudly proclaiming "CANCELLED". They spoke over the top of us, wouldn't make eye-contact, and were clearly speaking about us. It was incredibly unprofessional and a horrible first impression of India. We saw several keys hanging on the wall and as it was 10pm, assumed they weren't fully booked, so we asked if we could just book a room. In order to book a room they apparently had to call a call centre and the whole process took over 30 mins. Frustrated and tired after 3 flights and over 24 hours of travel from Bali, we honestly would have left and gone elsewhere if there was anything else available, but we were stuck there. Eventually they gave us a room and it was beyond disgusting. The bedsheets were stained and there was dust and bugs everywhere. There was no running water and for some unbeknown reason, a filthy bucket and jug in the bath. We left at 3:30am to catch our next flight and the reception staff were sleeping on the floor in front of the desk. We stepped over them and placed the key on the desk and they leapt up and started yelling at us as if we were trying to steal from them. It was really scary. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We didn't have high expectations for this place, and as we were only staying to catch a few hours sleep between flights, we didn't need it to be the Ritz. We travel often and have stayed in countless hotels, and I can honestly say that this is my worst hotel experience to date - firstly because of the staff, and secondly because of the state of the place. We are two women in our early 30s and did not feel safe at all during our stay. The hotel felt very secluded and is surrounded by complete darkness. There were several sketchy characters hanging around the outside and when we smiled at them, they glared at us. I would strongly recommend spending the extra money to stay at one of the other airport hotels. This place seems destined to end up on the news one day...... More

    They switched off the a.c in middle of the night .the channels on television are not subscribed .after calling 4-5 times for the room service ,they served water .they are so slow and air conditioning system is very bad . A total waste of money .... More

    I stayed for two days here and was surprised that this shady and unprofessional place is listed as a 2-star hotel in OYO. Located in the wrong side of the airport but still described as being “close to the airport”, I regretted not doing my research about the location of the hotel as it took me more time to reach the airport than it would have taken me if I had selected a hotel in Jaipur City Centre. This hotel is not even in Jaipur proper, it is located in a dusty village area and you will be hard-pressed to find anything worth exploring nearby except for dusty roads and bottom-of-the-barrel bars and restaurants. Coming to the living conditions, the AC hasn't been serviced for ages and the ceiling was so low I was scared of getting a nasty haircut by the ceiling fan if I sat up on the bed. They did have a television and a remote for the television which was nice to have. The lid of the toilet could not stay upright so I could not use it, and there was no sign of presence of hot water, so that made my stay extra-uncomfortable. The sheets gave out moldy smell leaving me wondering if they had at all been cleaned for months. The hotel had promised me Free Wifi and morning breakfast and I will talk briefly about both. The unavailability of internet played into the fact that when I asked them to confirm my online payment, they said they could not confirm due to “network issues”. Morning breakfast was provided, though not a part of room service. The day I stayed they provided with Chhole Bhature, and since it was complimentary, they provided the coldest Bhature with the most tasteless Chhole possible. It was a total rip-off.... More

    I stayed there for 2 nights and the hotel service was good. Room is decent. The drawbacks are internet is weak, TV has no English channels, hotel location is difficult to find and complimentary breakfast is not good, you need to pay if you request for coffee, fried egg and bread!... More

  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
