Please do not book this place. Recently we had an engagement party in this venue. Our experience was awful. Furniture provided was in terrible condition. Main door at the entrance broke down even before the party started. One table broke down in the middle of the party. Air condition was not working properly. Worst part was the attitude and the behavior of the staff there. There was an aged lady who was extremely rude. She should not be in hospitality industry. Stay away from this place folks!
Pathetic hall, DO NOT book.

We recently hosted an engagement reception at the Venue, the Executive Point.
We were highly dissatisfied with the amenities given to us. The furniture provided were in a pathetic condition ( a table broke in the middle of the event), the main entrance door was broken too. We paid an extra amount of 300/- per hour for the air conditioner which was not working properly. The room was claustrophobic, and the disfunctional AC did not help at all. The management was not helpful in these matters. The woman in charge was very rude, and later on did not receive our calls when we tried to complain. We were also charged extra money for the lighting ( on top of their usual rent). Overall, I strongly recommend not booking this venue for any sort of gathering.

It is very clean and clear hotel with all types of modern facilities. Me and my family enjoyed so much with my whole family in the yester weekend. It is very suitable for us and the food quality is very good.
Decent economy category hotel in a relatively peaceful location

Rooms in the upper floors are relatively bigger in size. Bath room and room are neat and clean. Ideally suited for business travellers. Reception area is congested. We have taken only breakfast here which is limited. There is an Udipi restaurant across the road which serves good south Indian food. Gariahat market area and Metro station are in walkable distance. I have stayed many a times in this hotel
Clean & well located

The hotel is situated close to the very busy Gariahat Market (one can walk it down in 25-30 minutes, but in Kolkata's hot & humid summer one does not feel like it). The rooms are spacious and very clean and so are the bedsheets, pillow covers & towels. But their blankets are filthy. When I complained, they put a sheet over & a sheet under the blanket to hide the filth. The bathrooms are clean, with everything working perfectly. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a dining space so one is forced to eat in the room. The room rent includes breakfast which is delicious. You have a choice of 5 or 6 dishes. In the 3 days that I was there, I ordered Continental, South Indian & North Indian dishes and all were very tasty.
The two drawbacks of the hotel:
1. There is no wi-fi worth the name even though on their website they claim to have it. If you are very lucky and sitting in the small reception area, you may get intermittent internet. Best to carry your own dongle.
2. The receptionist on duty during the day and evening, Mr Anuj Saha, is not helpful. He was not even willing to show me the menu card so that I could order dinner. I had to insist for him to give me one. Mr Arunabha Dasgupta, the receptionist who takes over for the other shift, is very cooperative and helpful.
The dinner fare (at least the daal and the roti) there can be given a miss, especially in view of the fact that there are good reasonable restaurants and streetfood nearby.
