    Plus point: clean room, decent bathroom with separate shower space (this is a huge plus), running hot water and located at the end of Marquis St so less than 10 mins away by rickshaw from New Market. Comfortable bed and basic toiletries provided. Negatives: Noisy throughout the night because staff is either working on the top floor or people are loudly yelling or slamming doors. Almost impossible to sleep at night. Buffet is completely avoidable, dirty breakfast tables which no waiter cleans up after guests. Tea, parathas and morning luchis are decent if you can ignore the mess. Coffee/teamaker was in the room but didn't work. AC could not be controlled, so either switch it on off. Room did not include any safety locker despite its mention on the website. Overall, if you can ignore the noise it's a decent place for the price and suitable for lone travellers . ... More

    Overall: pretty average; Room Service: Average; Breakfast: Way below average; Rooms: Not that spacious; Location: At the heart of Central Calcutta. Very near to Newmarket, Park Street, Meuseum, etc. ; Ambience: Noisy - which goes with the vibe of Central Calcutta. The Best thing about this hotel is that it is only 8-10M away from the famous restaurant "Khalique & Sons". If you are a beef lover do not miss it's "Beef Bhuna(Curry)" - arguably best beef served in Kolkata and Delhi at least. Try it with Tawa Roti. I have Beef Kebabs and curry in famous Salim's and in Jame Mosque areas in Delhi, in Jakaria and in Nizam's in Kolkata on several visits but believe me all these are nothing compared to Khalique's....     This hotel location is very good . All hotel space is clean . Reception behavior is good . But one think is very bad on this hotel . That is internet ( wifi ) problem . Management should be step on this issue. Because now 2017 . Not old . Room rent is high . Otherwise all are good . All people behavior are very good . Have nice nice brackfast. Room are clean . All is ok . But internet is not ok . Hope hotel management should be step regrading this issue. ... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
