    No words to explain the condition of the hotel durga inn.seems like something huge has been kept on our head .no cleanliness in the hotel as per pictures uploaded on internet .rooms , bedsheets pillows , toilet are in worst condition .do not waste money in such hotels .do try somewhere with little more money but dont every go in this hotel .my worst experience in the hotel here was somebody knocking and opening the door from outside without my permission .no sense of security in here ....     Hello friends! I am writing yet another review. I visited New Delhi very recently in order to appear in an examination in IT security. I wanted a room that can provide me study table I decided to book one on MakeMyTrip instead of Oyo rooms as I was getting better deal but this was a very big mistake. After some searching I discovered a hotel named Durga International on make my trip I went through the product offerings I discovered that in the Deluxe segment the Hotel was offering amenities like fridge, study table complementary mineral water, Minibar ,newspaper, Hot and Cold running water safe deposit box, air conditioning, bathroom toiletries etc. The room was also sizeable in the picture and everything was looking perfectly fine. MakeMyTrip was also providing some good discount in the events of early booking as my examination was a fixed event and I was willing to stay for 4 days in New Delhi I decided to book this hotel. I took a snapshot of the offerings Hotel was providing in the deluxe room so that in case of any discrepancy I may resolve it. I even called to the MakeMyTrip representative and asked him the procedure of any grievance redressal in the event I don't get what has been advertised the MakeMyTrip website and the customer care guy told me that " sir if you don't get what has been mentioned we will give you another place to stay or may shift you to a superior room". with the confidence provided by the customer care I booked the room. I booked it around 20 days before and waited to visit in Delhi. I checked into the hotel on the designated date and the very first question I asked to the hotel guy by showing him snapshot of the product offering that if I would get a study table or not this was very vital for me as I was appearing in an examination and I needed a place to study properly where I could put my laptop and can study properly. With a little hesitation he said yes it can be provided but you have to wait a little that statement of his created a doubts in my mind and my bad dreams came true when I saw my room it was not even a regular room it was pathetically small it was just like bumping your head with the wall if you wake up and walk Two Steps in sleep. There was no study table and it was nowhere looking like deluxe room. I immediately called the reception and asked him that why there is no study table inside or if he is going to place a study table in this room as there is no place to fit in. The guy told me that there is another room nearby which is sizable and table could be placed inside it. I went on to see that room was a bit bigger than the previous one there were 3 beds inside although the room can only accommodate two but I thought that some customer have demanded for three beds. I doubted that even the room was not properly cleaned and it was just given to me in a hurry. I said that there is no study table here as well and told them that I am appearing in an examination I desperately needed it the hotel guy was just looking at my face with a big ? he said what study table? I showed him the piece of advertisement and said that in the deluxe room you are offering study table as a part of room amenities and his expressions were blank .I said that I need it and I need it quickly because the next day I have to appear in examination and I have to prepare the day before. They said they will arrange it somehow and after sometime they drag a big table inside it was nowhere like a study table instead it was a bulky office table nevertheless I just wanted a table be it a study table or office table but there was no chair, another problem to deal with. Inside the bathroom I went to take a bath and I discovered some hair fallen on the floor. The pillow cover was not clean the foot cleaner was also dirty it was full of dust and was making the room even dirty. I asked Hotel guy to take away the third bed as it was minimising the space and they took it after sometime. I discovered that there is no minibar no newspaper service and also there was no locker as advertised in the MakeMyTrip website at the time of check out from this hotel I was also able to discover that there is also no complementary mineral water it was also advertise that the hotel provides complementary mineral water and it was even costlier than what you get outside they were charging rupees 30/ litre of mineral water. when I checked in and saw condition of the room, dirty pillow dirty foot cleaner hair in the bathroom... I quickly called MakeMyTrip and told them that this room the hotel has offered me resembles nothing with the advertised pictures where the rooms are substantially big and attractive it was also said that somehow I was able to get the table but the condition of the room is not good the pillow is dirty the air conditioner is getting non-functional if there is an electric outage and it is nothing like a deluxe room. As I am a frequent Traveller and I stayed from one star to five star hotels I know what deluxe room is like. MakeMyTrip lady replied that she is checking with the hotel guys and would get back to me I even told her that the room is exceedingly dirty it is a small and some of the amenities which were advertised are not there. there were broken electricity panels gate of the fridge was also defective and the AC was also not operating during electric outage. Hotel staff said that in the event of electric outage the air conditioner will be non functional now if there happen to be A 6 hour of outage I have to leave in a normal non AC room as I was appearing in a very important examination the comfort was at my utmost priority and this was something which I didn't expected. Let me tell you that I have stayed in many hotels in New Delhi and they offer the AC facility even in electrical outages. MakeMyTrip lady confirmed with the hotel staff and said that I have not given deluxe room instead I was upgraded to a super deluxe room. It was kind of a dirty joke to me as the room I was saying is nothing like super deluxe it was small pathetic room. I even told that I got a table but it is not a study table because in a study table you not only get a table but you get a chair, a lamp at least but what I got what is a big bulky official table with no chair and no lamp. I had to drag the table to a place where there are adjacent electric connections. Somehow I used the small desk provided to keep glasses etc as a chair. the 'Jugaad' helped and somehow I was able to study properly. MMT customer care told me that she is very sorry if I have not been provided the amenities that were advertised but nothing could happen now and even she asked me that what I would like to do instead of giving me a solution herself she was feeling pity I didn't want that kind of response what I want was a solution and justification to what has been advertised and provided in actual. I said this is a big cheating that the property owner has made by misguiding customers by posting lucrative deals with attractive fake pictures and providing nothing similar to that. The MakeMyTrip lady said sorry and told me that I would be given complementary gift card of rupees 1000 as a compensation. To make my life even happier this compensation has never been received till date at the time of writing this review so thank you make my trip...humble customer service isn't it. So this is how make my trip keeps its promise to customers it might be possible that in a TV Advertisement Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt could come and say that if you don't get a deal as stated MakeMyTrip will take care of it and will refund your money even but my friends it is nothing like that it is just an advertisement with big stars that bost many things but in reality it is nothing like that even the customer care executive didn't kept the promise she said that I would get 1000 rupees tour package but it was never credited. During 4 days of my stay I find the following amazing things in the hotel , curtsy MakeMyTrip that may make your life and trip a happy place( curtsy big started advertisement mmt assured)... 1. The shower of the super deluxe room was non functional. 2. If the shower is non functional let's bath using normal way tumblr and mug but oh no.... mmt hotels don't provide mug in the tumbler it is a luxurious feature and you have to ask it explicitly. 3. The mmt assured hotels don't provide air conditioning on electrical outages you have to understand it is India and you have to bear with it as we all Indians love to live in warm conditions and mmt assurance ensures that you get it. 4. MMT Assurance will also guarantee that during your entire stay in the hotel your bed sheet and pillow covers will be never changed to make you feel more homely ( with the stink of your absorbed sweat you would rather feel it).... excuse that would be given is the washer man is on leave so they cannot change the pillow covers and bed sheets as they have very limited of pillow covers and bed sheets. What an excuse sir ji....bravo.... 5. You would be given pleasent surprises in mmt assured hotels. you will be charged for complementary mineral water and for other complementary services that would never remain complementary once you check in that's nice such a pleasant surprise. 6. Mmt assured hotels can only guarantee water you have to feel it to be hot or cold...just feel it... 7. and last not the least is if you are bored sleeping on comfortable beds mmt assured hotels offer you bed with the sound of the spring (that would make strange lovely sound on every move of yours) will make you thrilled....so nice. In short if you are bored with your regular life and you want some adventure really good fun with full of surprises book a hotel on make my trip and I guarantee that you will get whatever you want whether you like it or not. So that's the end of the wonderful journey guys I hope you would find it useful for next time maybe you would writing the same adventure story after your pleasant stay in mmt assured hotels.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.
