    Very good place to spend vacations. The hotel is near the christ church and mall road. Very good food. But you have to take taxi with luggage as the walking is tedious with weight. You can not pay food bill with credit card they only accept cash. So be prepared initially with cash.... More

    Let me clarify beforehand that my review is with the assumption that a decent hotel in Shimla is usually rupees 3000+ The best part of the hotel was service, couple of examples to share, (1) I had to adjust my room booking date a day prior the visit and the hotel authorities were happy to help and didn't charge any extra money (2) There was water shortage on the day we visited, however, the hotel employees provided us (and I am sure to everyone else) hot & cold water as & when necessary Three things can drive the rating further up, (1) Location - it was a hassle to reach the hotel, a big no for aged (2) View - the window opens in neighbor's balcony (3) Advancement - they charged 2.8% extra for credit card payment!! You can stay if you need to pass one day within nearby distance from Mall road... More

    Fraud and pathetic hotel

    I booked single room for 5 people through Make my trip and fully paid in advance. When I reached there at 10 pm in night.my room was already allotted to sme1 else. I was asked to stay in smaller room. When I asked y my room was allotted I was told you can leave if you dnt want this room.     Our three days turned into 8 due to us both getting sick. Room service was good, but our room was very small and overpriced in spite of low season. The balcony that came with it had four chairs, either wobbly or with bird droppings on it, not inviting to be used. Another room, that our friends used, was much bigger and nicer for the same price. We also had to put up many nights with very noisy neighbours, in one instance young people using drugs and laughing hysterically until the early hours in the morning. To our knowledge, staff did not intervene. The hotel has a certain old world charm with wood pannelling everywhere. The beds were quite hard and mattresses thin. The bathroom very outdated, doors rotten, but good hot water supply. Unfortunately, India's air pollution has reached Shimla and what it is famous for could not be seen through the constant haze. It was lovely cool, though. The position of the hotel is quite good, not too far from the Ridge. All steps to and in the hotel are extremely high and there is no lift.... More

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
