    -- fly in soup; reven though offered a different kind of soup for replacement, they brought back the same bowl, only without the saucer on which I'd placed the dead fly. -- under construction; hammering and drilling throughout the day, and still going on at 8:45 pm, at which point I left and found a better place. -- manager seemed upset finding my window open; even though I had not touched it -- it was open like that when I was given the room. he left slamming the door to my room. accidentally? -- had quoted 1200 rupees 10 days before. when I came, wanted 2000 rupees. I left, then the owner said 1200 is ok. I agreed. They did not mention the construction noise. With all the construction commotion, even the nice view doesn't provide enough peace and quiet to get good sleep or be able to concentrate for work. -- light in bathroom was only intermittently working...     TERRIBLE | HOTEL UNDER RENOVATION | OVERPRICED

    I booked this hotel through MMT. The biggest surprise we got was the whole hotel is under renovation. The room which we got had carpentar working right outside our room with all the wood cutting machines, hammers and wood dust everywhere. The washroom had leaking taps, buckets, walls full of water seepage, waterlogging even inside the room, broken almirah......... that was worse than even a room at a Dharamshala in India. Finally we had to call MMT and then they agreed to change our room. The room that we got later on had a window towards garbage dump right outside it. The staff was really rude. We arrived at the hotel early morning at 7AM, they did not even allow us to use Washoom to freshenup, we had to use Public Toilets outside the hotel. The lady at the reception was helpful but other than her the whole staff was not even interested in helping customerds or answering any queries. Having travelled the whole world, I can certainly say that this was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. We paid approx Rs 2700 per night during May 2019, looking at quality of our stay, it is definitely overpriced. There are hotels available at a much cheaper price with better ammenities. Another interesting point, on Google Maps the location is incorrect. This Hotel is not located on "The Ridge", it is located on the "Lakkar Bazaar" which is about 200 meters from the Ridge. They've intentionally mentioned that location on Google Maps.... More

    this was my first time in Shimla and I stayed there for one night. The room is clean and the best part is here one will not get the problem of water scarcity which is a big issue in Shimla and in other hotels surrounding this place. Staff is great very polite and helpful.... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
