    Cockroaches!!!!!

    Stayed there as part of g-adventures tour. One word.....cockroaches!!!!! Told our CEO and had a room switch in 5 mins. But the other room had cockroaches too....just not as many. Others on the tour had cockroaches in their rooms too..... Stained bedsheets....asked for fresh pillow covers and they were stained too...... tbh it was a basic tour so can’t expect much but cockroaches are just tooo gross........ More

    Another gadventures traveller here! The beds in this hotel were the best beds in our trip to India. They were huge and super comfortable. The rooms were very large, big enough for me to do a workout in them which is great. Very clean and modern.The restaurant was hot, it's just fans upstairs, but the breakfast was awesome and super cheap. We ordered the breakfast both mornings we were here and it was great every time.  Location was okay, it's quite far out from the main bit of town. It takes about 20 minutes up a hill to get to the good bits, but it's a quiet hotel, in a bit more of a quiet area of the city. This would have scored higher, but my dry cleaning came back and had been shrunk, and trousers ripped!... More

    It is a very nice hotel to visit in udaipur. Rooms are good and clean. Washrooms are hygienic. Complementary breakfast is good.and now they have started spa service also. very good hotel budget hotel.... More

    Incredibly bad. I mean, incredibly BAD

    Really not great. Note that I stayed with G Adventures. Let me start with the rooms. The room was reasonably spacious and beds comfortable. No window which wasn’t great. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially in the bathroom. Towels were not clean. And they were not replaced for the second day - a service I expect in a hotel, and service I have obtained in hotels of the same class in the past. The shower had no hot water, so getting showered was most uncomfortable. Also don’t set anything on the bathroom floor (besides the filth) as it will get wet - no matter where you set it. The staff are incredibly rude. I had an argue,ent with one member of staff over the return of my passport. To summarise this particular situation, I requested he returned my passport and he refused and said words to the effect that he has to use them for check in (note that this was a good 6 hours after we checked in). I then proceeded to demanding he return my passport - this is after all a legal document which I must always keep safe in my possession - and again a refusal. It was only after about 4 or 5 minutes that he returned my passport. This was perhaps one of the hardest and most unpleasant circumstances I have had with a hotel reception desk to date. Breakfast - one word: inedible. Go to the street food samosa stall 30m to the right of the hotel upon exiting. WiFi was completely dysfunctional after 2 minutes of arrival. It gets worse. One night when we returned to the hotel from our day’s sightseeing there was excrement on the floor of a corridor, and I must say, it very well was likely human excrement. In simple English, THERE WAS A POO ON THE FLOOR OF A CORRIDOR. Note that I would attach a picture, but this is a sensitive issue. All in all, I had an incredibly poor experience and I have no dezire (if you get the pun haha) to return to the hotel.     Had a really terrible time at this hotel. Hotel is overall clean with a nice rooftop view. Restaurant is average at best. A number of girls in our group were stuck in the lift. The emergency bell didn't work nor did the emergency number. They had to scream for quite some time before they were eventually discovered. One of our nights involved a class of local boys staying at our hotel. They checked in at 5 am. For the next 3 hours until 8am they decided to terrorise our group of mainly young adult females. They ran up and down our corridors blasting music. They managed to break into several rooms and procede to scare us. What's very worrying is that several of the locks in the rooms didn't seem to work and the boys managed to break in and scare us over and over again. Several members of our group were extremely shaken up and upset by this ordeal. Obviously the hotel can not be responsible for the actions of this group. However,reception staff put their phone off the hook and no workers in the hotel came to our assistance during the 3 hour ordeal. The following morning no explanation or apology was offered and no solution for the locks not working was offered. They also managed to mix up our laundry with another group. Udaipur is a beautiful city and well worth visiting. I would highly advise not staying in this awful hotel who clearly don't care at all about the health and safety of its patrons.... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
