    Amazing Service and Hopsitality

    We were at Ooty for 4 days and what we experienced with Hotel Darshan was way beyond expectations. First and foremost it is located just opposite the lake due to which you get a nice and serene view of the lake in the morning. The next part is the rooms and connectivity. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and super clean. In fact, the bathrooms are so clean that you do not find even a single speck of stain on the bathroom floor. They have 24 hrs hot water which makes you feel fresh after taking a bath in the cold weather. Apart from this their connectivity is amazing. Even in hill stations like Ooty, they have really fast wifi which keeps you connected seamlessly throughout your stay. The best part that we loved was the minute details they look upon in providing service to their customers. Even the manager is so down to earth, and he himself will come and ask you during breakfast about the experience of your stay and is there any need for improvement. Two people I would definitely mention. One was Mr. Sagar who was tasked with the housekeeping of the room. He made sure that everything was in the perfect place in the room. In fact, he went ahead and even provided us with beautiful decorations through towels which were appreciable to make the customer happy. The next person was Mr. Shintoo. He was responsible for table service. An amazingly polite person who provided us very good and prompt service we needed for anything related to food throughout our stay. By the example of these, it shows the staff's dedication towards maintaining service quality. The only thing we did not like is that 80 percent of their breakfast is the same all 365 days of the year which is not good since then it becomes boring to have the same breakfast throughout your stay. This should be changed by adding various items and menus. Apart from this the stay experience was amazing and would definitely recommend going ahead and booking this hotel.... More

    This pure veg hotel is located in a quite surrounding across the lake with a beautiful view. Very comfortable stay & the restaurant's Jain food preparation is excellent. Special mention to restaurant incharge Mohan and staff Madhu & Sintu for taking extra care of guests. Surely recommended for family stay.... More

    Visited this place on a weekend with family and everything was so perfect. We had early check in and it was very smooth. We had opted for standard room and it was very clean and well maintained.Breakfast spread is amazing and tasty.They arrange for local site-seeing with affordable price. Room service is quick and helpful. Ooty lake and boat house is situated in front of the hotel and you can spend quality time over there.Though the hotel looks old from outside, its neat and well maintained. Highly recommended if you are looking for budget friendly , vegetarian option with close proximity to most of the places. They also arrange for auto,taxi as required.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
