    We headed from Chandigarh towards Shimla at 17:00 and reached there by 21:00. We opted for the easiest hotel to find on the main road. And for this, I think hotel Dalziel serves the purpose best. The facilities were just okay.... More

    The location is near AG Office opp railway building. Main mall road is 5-10 minutes walk. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room service was good. The quality of food was good. This is heritage hotel. No AC in room.... More

    It was a last minute booking during our toy train ride before we reached Shimla. Luckily we managed to get a room at Dalziel for quite reasonable price. The room size is okay for the paid price. They provide comfortable bed and clean bathroom. And the view from our room was nice too! My only complain is that they didn't provide heater and it was freezing cold during the night :( This hotel is nicely situated in term of location as railway station is only 10 minutes walking distance, the ridge and mall road is 5 minutes away. You can easily walk to most of the main tourist attractions in Shimla without having to worry about booking a cab. We only took a local bus from nearby bus stop to go to Summer Hill for sightseeing. The hotel provide cloakroom to store our bags after we check out while waiting for our night bus to Manali.... More

    Dont Believe on their Services !!

    I had stayed in Dalziel Hotel, Shimla (booked from GoIbibo) on 24th and 25th Sep, 2017 and then left for Manali. For moving to Manali and roaming therein and further drop off to Kalka, we booked a cab from “Akash Tour & Travels” (approved by H.P Deptt. of Tourism) as arranged by Hotel Reception itself, for 26th to 30th Sep, 2017 with the prior condition that we may go to chandigarh for a day, if the time permits. It was agreed for chandigarh with extra charges for Tolls( around 2000 as informed by Travel agaency). We reached Manali on 26th itself and stayed in the Hotel. On 27th and 28th, we have done with Rohtang pass, Solang Valley and local sight seeings of Manali.Since we had one more day, we planned to move to chandigarh and informed about our plan to Driver as well as the tour operator.Our plan was to left Manali at 8 am on 29th. As per plan, we were ready. The driver came and he has alloted someone else for our rest of the tour. We were fine with the arrangement. We have already paid 80% of the agreed amount to the previous driver. On our way to chandigarh, we realised from the driver’s phone conversation that he is going to drop us to Kalka. We informed him about our plan for chandigarh and he told that he has been informed for Kalka only by the previous driver. We called the tour operator and he told us that he wil talk with the driver. In the meantime, the driver took the car to petrol pump and filled up the petrol for exactly the amount which was pending from us(around ₹2300) When we opposed to pay the amount, he used the absurd words and threatened us to catch a bus for shimla. People of petrol pump were good and they are with us only. But suddenly many nearby drivers came up and asking us to pay the whole amount. We have been forced to pay. Then we again called the tour operator and now he is saying that its your fault as why you have completed Manali in 2 days and has denied to go to chandigarh. Since they have denied to take us to chandigarh, we asked the driver to drop us to Kalka Railway Station.But unfortunately he dropped us 2 kms (near Parwanoo) away from station and left away. Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
