    Rooms are good but food is way too expensive

    We chose this hotel as this was close-by to Koyembedu bus stand as we were to leave for Pondicherry the next day. The bus stand is close by indeed and it helps if one is travelling to Pondicherry. The rooms were good too and the reception was polite as well. However we had too much of baggage with us, no one helped us with carrying the luggage. Another thing we felt terrible and irritated about is the price of the food charged by the restaurant which was way too much and the food was not that great as well. So if you can compromise on food, you can stay here. ... More

    I stayed here,it is nice hotel. and good service. Its well maintained and clean. Staffs are very friendly.. For Business man can stay more comfortable. Its Opt for Couples too. Its located at near to Bus Terminus. its more advantage to check in the hotel.... More

    VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HOTEL!

    I stayed there for one night. After arriving at 2am directly from the airport, my room that i booked well in advance was not ready! They told me to sit down and wait. Then some guy from the corridor shows up with the mop going to the room to clean it (when i entered it the floor was all wet)! Then they picked up some sheets & a towel from another room and took these to my allocated room. I was witnessing it all as i was sitting at the reception and waiting for them to finish the cleaning... when i complained, extremely tired after a long flight & jerlagged at 2 am, the answer i kept getting: ‘only five minutes, mam, what is the problem?’. Actually, it was more than ten minutes, but that’s not the point. I was just striken by their attitude and unprofessionalism in handling hotel business/clients... and i’ve been around, traveled a lot, stayed in many hotels & guesthouses... but never of this kind... the room absolutely damp, sheets not clean. And by the way, i called the hotel 2 days prior to my arrival to inform them about my late arrival; as well as made another call from the airport once i landed. And still not to have my room ready?!?!? It just blew my mind!!! And one more thing, they said since they didnt have a restaurant, they would deliver breakfast in the morning around 7.30-8am. I told them, please not to deliver it earlier than 8.30am as i really needed to catch up with my sleep. And guess what, 7.30am in the morning my door bell rang... to deliver some greasy packaged breakfast! Their attitude throughout was rude & unprofessional. And guess what, when i told them i would write a disappointing review on the booking.com through which i booked the hotel, they immediately accessed the system & showed my booking as ‘cancelled’ so that i would not be able to write a review any more.     Well the only advantage is the location,

    We had booked 2 rooms 206 & 207 thru OYO .We had checked in on the 22nd morning. The quality of the rooms is ok... The restaurant is on the 4th floor and the kitchen on the ground floor, food ordered by the time it comes to table is cold and delayed service...especially when you pay the price for the food. Breakfast was manageable , we check out one room and requested the hotel for extension of one room till 6.30 pm and with payment accordingly. By the time we finished our work and came back it was 6.30 pm by which time they made my colleague vacate the room on payment of Rs 1000/- and made to sit in the lobby. After me and my other colleague reached the hotel and requested Mr. Aslam to give a room for 15 minutes for us to freshen up and change, as we had a Orange Bus to catch at 8pm.. we were rudely informed that no rooms were available and this guy spoke to some senior and informed. A little request from our end and I was informed that a room will be made available but only on payment of Rs. 2000/- which was irritating and despite requests Mr. Aslam & Mr. Santosh did not budge a inch nor did they share the number of some senior. Having stayed at different hotels across the country there has never been a problem faced liked this. The arrogance of the staff was too disgusting, after a hard day....me and my colleagues live out of hotels at least 20 days a month ...Chennai Deluxe for us or from us is a STRICT NO NO ... we surely deserve a better customer service.......     Good hotel and reception was very good

    it is a very good hotel with the best services.Stayed for three nights but wished to stay even more.It has good foods for all veg and non-veg.Excellent rooms and quiet a good place for any purpose of stay in Chennai.Although the location is not so great but it still is gradually a great hotel indeed.... Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
