Room was ok but not as good as the pictures suggest. It is also overpriced for the standard of the room, we paid £42 a night, if it would have been £20 we would have been happy. The location is very good and within walking distance to many of the tourist sights.
Good location, Nice rooms and Courteous Staff

I stayed in Mumbai last month, got to know about the Hotel, from Booking.com the hotel is located in the heart of Mumbai Colaba, there are lot of Shopping attractions nearby and good restaurants as well, also the famous Taj hotel and Gateway of India is just 5 mins from the hotel. The staff were also good and courteous always ready to help and also adviced the places to see nearby.
Staff is good but the noises were not controlled in the hotel and in Corridor

Me and my friend stayed at Hotel Broadway for a day, we got to Mumbai at 7am and have 14 hours to spend in the city so we wanted the option to sleep and take a shower before our flight home. They let us check in early in the morning but we had to pay for a full night (most places ask for a full fare so this isn't unusual). The thing is, the room is much smaller and less clean than it looks in the pictures. the AC didn't work and it was kind of hot in the rood. The bathroom wasn't very clean and it smelled bad (like sewage).
They didn't want to give us breakfast, which should have been included since we paid for a full night. However, after I mentioned that to the guy at the reception they agreed to provide us breakfast. They were helpful during the day, let us call the airline from their phone and didn't charge us...the stay was OK in total but not worth the price, we payed 2241 rupees. We stayed at much nicer places for less during our trip...
Lovely stay at the Hotel Broadway

Having read the reviews about the Broadway we were a little bit anxious about our arrival at 2 am but everything was in place, they knew exactly what our booking was and handled it very efficiently. The room was lovely and clean, and Ac worked well. The shower was sometimes warm , mostly not , but it was so hot it didn't matter. The location is absolutely amazing, 2 minutes walk to legendary Leopold Cafe and 5 minutes from The Gateway of India and Taj Palace Hotel. Staff were attentive and friendly. The only reason for not 5 stars is that the reception staff are very "functional" and efficient and could just smile occasionally, when we arrived with our daughter on day two at 2 am after picking her up from the airport, rather than saying Hi hope you've had a good flight, welcome to Mumbai, the only response was " Passport!" It's little things like that that cost no money that make the difference between OK and Great.
