    Good Budget hotel with parking

    Located on the Ooty Conoor highway , this hotel is good if you are bringing your own vehicle. Most hotels in ooty do not have parking, but this one has. Although on a weekend the cars might be stacked in parking, so might get little tricky. Hotel is little far from main market (15 minutes walk) , and other attractions but that is not a big issue as there are autos who can take you there albeit at a cost. Hotel does not have a restaurant that can be a problem. There is only 1 nearby restaurant within 2 mins walk. Hot water is from 6 to 9am and water was actually hot as soon as I opened the tap....     Worst hotel i stayed in this price range. It's full of cons like far away from the city, very rude hotel staff specially front desk, no restaurant, poor room service, dirty room and stuffs. Worst experience overall. Believe me guys, there are many good hotels even in less price range in the city. Go for them, but don't waste your money in this hotel. Rest it's your choice.... More

    Hotel Blue Bird is located on Ooty-Coonoor road. It's just 5mins drive from Ooty. If you are travelling by your own vehicle, it's convenient to stay over here as they have ample parking space and ate located not-so-far from Ooty. Stay is peaceful, away from the weekend traffic that storms Ooty. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are decently maintained. Hot water supply is 6am to 10am. No restaurant. However, they supply hot drinking water and hot beverages on demand. Staff is courteous and well mannered. Had a pleasant stay.... More

    First of all this hotel is located on Coonoor road, far away from the city. Secondly, we found the hotel staff to be rude. Room service is poor. There is no restaurant in this hotel. Room floor was not clean. They claim that they give mountain view from deluxe room, but actually they do not. Worst experience so far. There are many good hotels in the city. Take any of them. If you have Budget, go stay in some good resort. But don't stay in this hotel.... More

    The location of blue bird is excellent.This hotel is situated at the outskirts of ooty..but very easily accessible from coonoor side or ooty town side.This property is situated just adjacent to mettuppalayam ...coonoor...ooty road Rooms are very clean and tidy not really bigger in size that we have seen in pictures Room boy Manoj is always very pleasant and fast. We will not expect bed tea at 7AM in room..but just opposite to hotel tea is available from even 6:30 AM. Bed and linen very clean.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
