    I took 4 family rooms to stay my family guests. These are large enough.The guests were satisfied with service. The hotel does not provide room service other than tea. However, you can order from outside, based on some menu of nearby restaurants. The hotel is value for money.... More

    If you aren't perturbed by dirty sheets and enjoy arguing with staff every time you walk through reception, then the Blue Bird Hotel is the place for you! During our 25 minute check-in process, we were told that our reservation didn't exist, even though we could clearly see our name written on a printout in front of the receptionist. Once we had established that we had a reservation, they told us we needed to pay up in cash, despite already having paid. This was a theme of our stay in the Blue Bird, as they reminded us we needed to pay in cash every time we walked through reception. The rooms were not clean. The sheets were stained. Room 112 is odd, the mirrored walls and circular bed may not be to every guest's taste. Overall the location is great and the rooms are spacious. It's quiet at night. The beds are comfortable. The corridors and sheets need to be cleaner and the staff more helpful and friendly. ... More

    Rude manager but otherwise clean and good

    Arrived at 7.00 am, booked because I thought I would be able to get an airport transfer but they told me to book a taxi instead. Arrived to what I assume was the manager asleep opposite the reception desk, he was awoken by his other staff and took ages to find my booking - I had to find it for him in the end! Was mega surly and rude the whole time - I had booked for the night before my arrival as well as the day I was actually there - so they seemed confused as to why I had turned up at this time... I had been emailling trying to find out whether it was neccesary to book both nights as I was arriving so early to no reply so I just booked both! Got into my room, no wifi signal and no windows but clean and spacious. There was hot water in the shower I just had to figure out how to turn the boiler on! I slept most of the day but was awoken by a loud phone call from reception saying something about my booking even though i had booked for that night??? Ended up booking an extra night as I couldn't find anywhere else to stay in mumbai which was a bit of a nightmare cause they only take cash! Upon leaving they tried to charge me for 3 extra bottles of water which i had not ordered nor had been delivered to me! Room was not cleaned once in the 3 nights I was there, hallways smells horrible!! Other staff (in blue polo shirts) apart from the manager guy were very sweet and attentive though and the room was spacious and clean with aircon.... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
