I arrived to the Panjim as a last minute decision from Mumbai and had no hotel booked, so I turned to a usual plan - asked taxi driver to drive me around and let me see some hotels to pick from. He did, first two he drove me to were bad and overpriced, so was this one, the last of three where driver took me. I was about to book online, but my connection was gone and driver started to pressure me, saying that he will leave me now somewhere next to the beach so I can go look myself (with my heavy suitcase). I guess I lost all my mind when I agreed to stay in Blue Bay and pay 1500 inr for non-AC room. It kinda seemed not as bad at first, but now I am writing this review after few hours spent in hotel - and I can say - it is really bad and no one should stay here, not for this price at least. Its best price should be 400-500 inr. So in brief: no AC (its India, for god's sake!) everything is filthy, i feel disgusted to touch things in here. bedsheets are washed, but covered in stains all over. One small light bulb, so it is really dark in the room Huuuge, I mean HUGE roaches are wondering around (yes, I know its tropics etc, but please, not like this). I keep spraying around the chemicals I got from the staff, so now room also stinks. Bathroom, then my bag and bed god invaded by huge number of ants, they also bite. No hot water Beach in front is closed for swimming during off-season Weird noises are coming from the floor above, like an elephant jumping, and it lasts for long. I don't want to know what it is. Check out time- 9 am !!! Really smth unheard of! Hard bed There some positive moments that I shall list, to be fair, but please, think hard before booking this place. Positive: Beautiful green yard and most of the rooms (from what I see) have balconies, facing the yard. Building looks good from the outside. Beach is across the road (but no swimming is allowed during monsoon) Staff is kinda nice and trying to be helpful, but people, instead of being just helpful you should also take much better care of this property. Building does have a good potential, but it is in a really terrible condition. Food is ok (although I really do not want to see kitchen...I am afraid it is as filthy as the rooms are) but overpriced. Internet is running fine, allowing me to post this review and do my regular online job. (note - my mobile Airtel connection is totally dead around the hotel, cant tell why). Spacious room. There is a minifridge in the room. Коротко о главном - тут грязно, бегают гиганские тараканы и толпы муравьев, нет кондея и за эту радость они просят не ниже 1500 рупий, которые я и заплатила в приступе помутнения рассудка от жары и дороги. И да, чекаут в 9 утра. Буковать стоит если вас много (комнаты большие) и вы не брезгливы то есть совсем. И в моей комнате 205 хорошо ловил интернет, но почти не работает моя местная симка, ни внутри отеля, ни снаружи.... More

    Nice Budget Hotel

    Stayed there for 1 week and found hotel as an average one. But that's understandable as the rates are quite reasonable. Its a good choice if you have budget constraints and still want to enjoy Goa. Its located at a walkable distance from Miramar Beach. Infact Miramar beach can be viewed from few rooms of this hotel as well. From here you can cross the sea easily and free of cost to go to other side where you can enjoy Calangute, Baaga, Anjuna and other beaches. We hired a bike and it was quite comfortable to visit those beaches. This hotel to near to Panjim Market which is really a very good market for shopping and fooding.... More

    Our family did a overnight stay at this Hotel. Situated close to Miramar beach and the neighborhood was quite. Rooms appeared neat with clean toilets on inspection. Small passages with rooms facing each other. During the night, the stay appeared uncomfortable. Blankets were dusty, mattress not clean - found dead insects, room walls were wet with fungus, balcony unclean with moss and not usable. Lots of mosquitoes - had to keep the windows closed. Ventilation otherwise very poor. Ceiling fan very noisy. On demand, we were provided with soaps, mosquito repellent tabs. No bath towels. No toilet rolls. Appeared poorly staffed. Infrastructure appears good and not maintained well. Room Tariff, as usual, ad-hoc and no tariff chart. We paid INR 1400 for Non-AC and 1600 for AC accommodation for night.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
