    Very Disappointing

    We went on a family trip to chennai from Sri Lanka through a Travel agent call 'Lanka Tours' according to the itenery they have arrange BKR grand hotel right in the chennai city. We wanted the best room, so they have allocated, room 336 for us which is a big room. But not worth for money we spent. I have no idea whether the travel agent charged a big amount from us and kept a big margin and allocated this hotel. No WIFI in the rooms Poorly maintained room and the toilets (toilet was full of Urine smell) Poorly maintained hotel no wake up call given on request Convenience for shopping Helpful staff ( Saravana /Shabeer and karthik) and belldesk. Amazing food - Pure Veg Complained to General manager (Mr.Vijay) Only response was given by saying "SORRY" Which is well taken care of their guests. Fantastic response. Not worth for money at all.     I just stay one day in this hotel on 29-August-2018. Breakfast nice, Reception staff nice and all hotel staff friendly and helpfully. I get nice room and whatever i asking and them just bring for me, So nothing to complain about this hotel. Nice location to stay in chennai! ... More

    Not a perfect experience

    I like the fact that the hotel's location is good and convenient for shopping. A/C was not working. The response to complains were not successful. As for the staff, they were polite and spoke nicely. But, like I said, the outcome of attending to guest concerns were not promising. According to me, the rooms were not very spacious. Also, poor wifi and network.... More

    The worst hotel in the town

    Our experience was really bad. The hotel was a club at entrance..the day we arive there were fight. No space for tempo traveller parking, hence you might need to get down at main road and pull your luggage in The rooms are smelly as its seems to be really and old property that need to be refurbished. Water Leaking at lift are, cockroaches in the room, water problem is another headache ..at times it can be rusty in colour. Except their frontdesk staff...their bell boys are with worst attitude. We checked out next day itself.... More

    Hotel doesn’t look anything like in the pictures. It wasn’t maintained properly. The rooms had a damp wood smell, toilets were dirty and the toilet doors were bad (wood rot). Corridor ceilings had huge holes and black stains. Had to leave the next day to another hotel . Hotel was placed in a very good location surrounded by shops ,friendly staffs. They attend to you properly and patiently, it’s a pity the hotel became like this without proper maintainence .So much of difference compared to years back! .... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 AM and the standard check-out time is 12 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
