    Tiny rooms - ok location

    The entrance to the hotel is a bit off-putting - its right off the main road and up a dark staircase. The room was tiny - so it was lucky I was travelling by myself as there was just enough room to fit my bag in. However, it was clean and the bathroom looked new. Hot water was readily available every day and the staff were friendly. Its about a 5-7 min walk to the lift which takes you to the Mall.... More

    This is one of the worst hotels I've ever visited. Extremely poor customer service. Room was an absolute dump. Absolutely rotten, filthy, stinking. Dirty bed linen, insufficient towels... basically we got only one towel (!) by the evening and apparently it was already used by someone before. Irregular hot water supply. One of the two booked rooms had faulty door. Moreover, my friend was basically trapped in the bathroom and could not get out without help of a carpenter. As to complimentary breakfast from Booking.com… there no one had any ideas. I'm not going to get into more details, but the only reason you should stay here is if there are absolutely no options left... More

    Budget hotel at very good location

    I had spent one night here with my family during our Shimla trip on May 2018. Location of this hotel is very good and it's located between lift to Mall and taxi stand/bus stand. Located 5-7 min walking distance away from HPTDC lift to reach Mall Road. Hotel don’t have own parking but they help guest to park vehicle in nearby parking. It’s a very good budget hotel. Beautiful view mountains and valleys are clearly visible from the room. They don’t have separate restaurant but they have serve testy and quality food at room. Price of the food is also reasonable. Rooms are bright, spacious and pleasant with a comfortable bed, clean bedding and bathroom facilities, plenty of storage space, a perfectly good television. Hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and cooperative. Entrance of the hotel is narrow and guests need to climb 8-10 stairs to reach main reception and room. This might disappoint you when you reach and enter the hotel. Please who have problem to walk may face problem to reach hotel rooms. Overall, we have pleasant experience to stay at Hotel Basant and I would stay here again.... More

    Not satisfied with room services..

    On 28th apl 18 i arrived at hotel and i gave a feedback that room was not cleaned and Washroom was smelling so bad that a human will definitely die... I said to their executive that these kind of thing are there.. kindly resolve... they said ok sir we will do it.. but no any output.. apart from that... i also said them for some water.. 2days i stayed there... i did not t get any water from them as a complimentary or anything... My weekend became hell with this kind of worst experience... I am not suggest any one to stay there..Thats all from my side so further other tourist wont face problems as i faced... Because bookmytrip is very big name fame website and people book from here as a thought that they will get a good experience but when you feel like i explained what happened to me earlier.. Not a single person will go to your online site... Please take my concern and feedback and do your best to resolve these kind of issues... More

    Situated in between lift to mall and taxi stand/bus stand... Located just by road side... So leave the car and hop in to hotel... We lived in room 8&9... Which has a common balcony... Awesome view... A bit noisy though... Near gurdwara... Food not available... Only tea and sandwich... Though good restaurants (veg and nonveg) present just 2 min walk away... clean rooms... Clean and well equiped bathrooms... hot water 24 hrs... Cosy bed... Spacious rooms... ... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
