Wonderful little find
on Apr 17, 2017
We stayed here on the first night of a five day motorbike trip over Easter and were thoroughly impressed. If you are a fan of the northern French countryside then this little place is for you. Not only is it within a small town/large village, there are farms surrounding it and there are great driving roads to get there with rolling fields as far as the eye can see.
Cathy and Bruno have restored this old mill fabulously and they will cater for all your needs so if you don't want to, you don't have to leave your room. There is only room service here so you really feel pampered and it's clear to see very sympathetic restoration of the old mill and incredible attention to detail. The dinner in the evening and breakfast the following morning were superb and it was very enjoyable to eat at the small table in our room. I can certainly recommend this little retreat to others passing through.
Yet another Gem off the beaten track, perfect

Room and location perfect. Quiet and surrounded with green and sublime silence. Owners are very helpful and will go the extra step to help and ensure that your stay is perfect. Rooms are well furnished, and are clean above standards, spacious. and all what one could ask for is available in the room. Breakfast is quaint and well presented, and coffee machine with tea choco and coffees in the room. Overall top marks, and WiFi coverage 100% and strong signal and good speed. Nothing negative can be said
Charming and rustic with delightful hosts

I first stayed in here in 2015 as a stopover on the way from UK to Germany. I wanted some tranquility, somewhere with character and off the beaten track, in the countryside with comfortable rooms. This ticked every box and easy to get to from Calais. So it was an easy choice the following year to stop here again on the way out, and, why not, again on my way back. Bruno and Cathy are the most charming and friendly hosts and very willing to make your stay enjoyable. The layout of the rooms will be a challenge for some, but choose carefully to suit your agility and taste and you will not be disappointed! I enjoyed taking meals in the room, a relaxed alternative to formal dining rooms. It won't suit everyone but there is a great deal of historical charm here, and this sleepy village will see me again I am sure.
Charming hosts and superb accomodation

We wanted somewhere quirrky that was close-ish to Waterloo.
Cathy & Bruno were charming hosts and their passion for their business and flair is reflected in the decor of the rooms.
Having arrived quite late in the dark on account of "an incident" in the tunnel, we had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would not be eating that night, as this logis is set in a very quiet community.
However, on arrival Bruno allayed our fears by directing us to a superb Italian restaurant in a nearby commercial centre 7 kms away.
The breakfast the following moring (I won't spoil how it is served) was right on the money and the drinks machine in the room for hot chocolate, espresso and cafe au lait is perfect.
We enjoyed two fantastic nights there and would most definitely return as we would also like to try the Kota Grill (a style of Finnish cooking) that is located within their grounds.
Owners make you most welcome in this unusual Logis

If you like square rooms in modern box hotels, this is not for you. Our attic room (up a winding spiral staircase so not for those with mobility issues!) had two low beams so you had to be careful not to bump your head. My friend failed on a number of occasions. There is no restaurant so meals are served in your room. They offer a selection of dishes for dinner but we were a bit disappointed with our choice the first night so ate out after that. I think we might have been unlucky. The room had a modern bathroom with an excellent shower with the rest of the décor best described as a bit quirky! The owners couldn't have been nicer - nothing was too much trouble.
