    A low key hotel just for Airport transit

    We had booked the room for 7th0ct2018 Through yatra,We arrived night around 10clock by mangalore flight ,Front officewas an aged person doesnt know about yatra booking.His computer was also not working,I showed him booking details in my mobile he asked for printout which usually i dont take ,so he asked to forward the Booking confirmation SMS to his superior by giving a number which i did,We had to catch a Phuket flight in the early morning so just wanted to spend a few hours of sleep and a morning bath there. we were 4 people in one room. Room were small with two double cot joined.Bathroom was big but not clean ,full of hard water stains. Toilet had also hardwater stain. Bathroom didnt have hot water ,the staff informed us to use the common(shabby) bathroom located in second floor which has a Geyser fitted in it (again poorly maintained and not clean). This hotel is just useful to spend a night for your flight transit.It has a attached restaurant which served hot food inclusing dosa,fried rice upto 11pm.Restaurant opened around 4am morning.... More

    OK for few hours or a day of transit

    This hotel near to airport is ok for spending transit time waiting for the flight , for hours or even overnight. The price is not so attractive. look little bit expensive for the services offered. There is a resturant, food is just ok, but expensive. The rooms are quite ok and clean.... More

    Good Hotel for Transit Passengers

    On 5th December evening, Chennai was on the edge due to the news about critical condition of the late CM. Since my family had to travel to Kolkata next day morning we did not take a chance and booked at Airways Drive in Hotel. Due to extraordinary situation the restaurant was closed in the evening which we did't mind as we only needed to have a good night's sleep. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Only there was a air of dampness in the rooms. Bathrooms were not clean and were not well maintained. There was no wifi nor the cable TV was functioning( may be due to black out). However, there was ample car parking space. So I too agree with other reviewers that if you need to stay close to airport to catch an early morning flight, this hotel works for you. However if you expect comfortable stay or service this is not the one.... More

    Waste of money to stay this hotel.Better avoid !!!The fans were noisy. For a lazy, relaxing, comfort requirements - DO NOT choose this hotel. Its strictly for staying for few hours while on Transit. Restaurant facility is available, but the food is very expensive. We paid around 70 rupees for a plain Dosa. And 30 rupees for a 1 litre water bottle. PROS: -> Very near to Airport... More

    I have been on a trip to Port Blair, and used Chennai as a transit. I have reached Chennai at around 6 PM, and my flight to Port Blair was at 5 AM next day morning. I wanted to rest for this transit time at a hotel nearby the airport. We are a family of 9 people with elderly people, travelling - So wanted a place nearby the airport, so that we do not have rush early in the morning for catching the flight. After some advice from our friends, we zeroed in on this hotel, and my brother did an advance-booking for one of the rooms. Coming to the review: The Hotel is strictly for the transit only. The bathrooms were not at all clean. The beds have no fresh bedsheets. When we requested, the management said, no white bedsheets will be provided. The fans were noisy. For a lazy, relaxing, comfort requirements - DO NOT choose this hotel. Its strictly for staying for few hours while on Transit. Restaurant facility is available, but the food is very expensive. We paid around 70 rupees for a plain Dosa. And 30 rupees for a 1 litre water bottle. PROS: -> Very near to Airport - We walked to the airport in the morning. Approx 1KM from the Hotel -> Very near to the local railway station. Auto charged us 70 rupees. -> Have bigger rooms (6 bed, 4 bed etc) -> Very reasonable prices. - We reserved one 6 Bed room (for Rs. 900/-) and one 4-Bed room (for Rs. 600/-) for a family of 9 people. CONS: -> Not at all clean -> No other options for food, apart from visiting the restaurant in ground floor. -> No proper transportation to the airport. The Auto-Stand starts in front of the main gate from 10 PM, but they charge heavily. They asked me 100-120 rupees per auto for a drop to airport which is less than 1KM from the hotel.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
