    Terrible from start to finish

    I was unfortunate enough to spend 3 nights at this terrible hotel. From the onset you can not even communicate with check in staff. Basic information is almost impossible. Finally you get to your rooms and it stinks , carpets are filthy , bathroom mould and hairs in sink and toilet . Horrible smell. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in over 30 years travelling the world . The location was old shanghai . It was dirty and again no English speaking at all. Basic information on trains , buses etc non existant . To get a taxi was impossible as the hotel is off the beaten track . The only positive was the day I spent in town shopping up a storm . Enjoyed a nice lunch and dinner and massage. Then it was back to the bad old hotel. If it wasnt already paid for I would have left in a heartbeat . How this gets anything more than a 2 from anyone is beyond me. ... More

    Very nice room for a very reasonable price! The staff spoke little English but this was China after all just a heads up! We got by just fine checking in. The bed was comfortable, it was convenient, it was clean.... More

    the worst hotel i have stayed in shanghai

    well, i did not like the hotel at all. the pictures are very misleading, staff speaks no english, it took me 25 minutes to check it...the window in my room was FAKE, it means just a glass and the wall infront of it, so there is no sunlight coming to the room, it leaves a very strange impression and i would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. i have stayed in plenty of different properties around shanghai and this one is not the one i will ever consider to get back to....     At various website, It may have been in the past or planned in the future. But actual image of the Hotel is 2-star. At receprtion is very difficult communication in any foreign language.Internet in the room is very weak. The only good thing in the room was that I slept weel.Realy need to change the owner.... More

    Let's start on a positive note. The staff really did try, at least for a while. Or at least occasionally. But nothing worked and if they managed to fix it, something else broke. At check-in the clerk said she had no triple rooms, although we had booked one. Eventually she found one. Internet was dead in our room and the coffeemaker didn't work. Nor did the replacement kettle. A technician eventually said Internet was out on the seventh floor and we should move to the sixth. Although a few hours before, there had been "no triple rooms," one was quickly located. Internet worked there, but only for a few minutes. Did I forget the clogged bathtub? And the nonexistent heating? I tried working with the hotel team until late at night. In the morning, I realized we hadn't come to Shanghai to give classes in hotel management, so we bailed. Good news: the receptionist immediately refunded the balance of our stay.... More

Overview

This 5 Star resort is located at the picturesque beach of Mobor in South Goa. There are 203 luxuriously-appointed rooms with balconies, offering partial view of the Arabian Sea, garden and swimming pool areas. Guests can treat themselves to a multi-cuisine fare at Cafe Mardi Gras, or dine at Whispers of the Orient for Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indonesian delicacies. Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
