    Great hotel to stay

    Location - heart of chennai city , reachable to all key places in minutes and known landmark . However traffic infront of the hotel is pathetic due to city traffic . However I can't find any traffic sound in the hotel Parking - hotel has got ample parking to park atleast 40 cars and big space and secured Reception - simple , easier and faster . They have 24 hour checkin which is good for any time checkin Restaurants - there are full Chinese , multi cuisine restaurants in 1 and 2 floor . They are very famous for lot of special cuisine. The bar is also good which offers high end scotch to local branded beers 🍻 Gym - the gym is small and I have not used it because of less equipment Spa- they have outsourced and we have to go outside some 10 minute away from the hotel . Staff - staff are too good starting from laundry , room service , security every aspect. However lack in Hindi but English can do wonders Food quality - which I admire a lot and damn good in terms of taste and variety and local flavour and special Tamil Nadu veg and non veg cuisine for which you should in this hotel to feel the aroma of Tamil Nadu food Rooms - I have stayed in club room for 6 days which is pretty long however I didn't get bored of anything . Minibar , snacks all are fine the requirement of a 3 star . Bathroom - shower pressure is too good and got 24 hours hot water 💦 which I feel is important in any stay . The hotel didn't disappointed me in this . Cheers for shower pressure However I was too bored with repetitive morning complimentary breakfast . Informed the hotel staff also on this . But there is no flaw in the quality of the food . Preferable for family , business , hospital visits etc and city total scouting . Proximity to key hospitals, major city landmarks and easy route to beach 🌊. However I don't recommend for leisure point of view . Good place to stay other than bored breakfast . ... More

    Harrisons Hotel is located almost in the centre of the city with various consulates, hospitals, colleges and other major hotels. Its location is most vital for its being a great place to stay. This is an old hotel and it shows in the decors and finishing, but you get good service. Hotel staff are polite and courteous. May be its needs a major sprucing up exercise.... More

    Many, many small irritations but the hotel is especially too expensive for what is offered. Even Internet is not complimentary for the price you pay. Feels like an old glory hotel. Don't book this hotel through Yatra, got confirmation from Yatra and hotel didn't give any confirmation to Yatra + info Yatra is wrong, wrong, wrong (price, internet, ...)... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
