Well, u need time to get used to this place

Came from an amazing cottage in Katrain and landed up here. From the looks of it, it is queer and has a warm feeling. Once you get inside you sort of like the room and the living room attached (it gives some sense of space and luxury.. wait). The rooms were more or less clean (could be better but I think this place is understaffed). The washroom is not luxurious and resemble that of a budget hotel at best. The kitchen was functional but was not commensurate with the price-tag of the hotel (upwards of 3000).
If you want a room in a busy season and a clean one with nice view and a clam place to sit, this is it.
After a day of stay you get used to this place and somehow like the homely atmosphere. The staffs are cordial and warm, the nature around you cools you down and you sit down in the porch and watch the mountains, you figure out that the things that bothered you can be ignored.
The location is great not because of the view, coz of its proximity to Hadimba Temple. Don't get me wrong, this temple sits on a hilltop and is like a short-cut to nearly whole of Manali. So being within 300m of this temple is like being able to walk to any part of Manali, the club house, old Manali, the wild-life santuary road, restaurants.. everything. There is also a narrow but pleasant road down to Mall Road from this place that avoids all the traffic and takes you through the local homes, and kids who play their way back from school. Just follow the direction to shiv temple and then google maps will guide you. Best, just ask the kids who are around!
When you finally get here back at night, you would have fallen in love with this place.. well sort of.
Amazing is the word

It's an excellent place to stay, you will have a great time while you are in Manali. Most important thing for this particular Hotel is the stuff that makes a difference. Staff who are senior and am sure must be working here for ages, but they has an amazing attitude towards the guest and the work that they do. Best part about this hotel is you get your own stuff and cook in your kitchen which is attached to your room. Staff will make sure they do the best to your requests. Mr. Patil who is the Manager of this place is extremely accommodating and helpful he make sure the guest who was staying here a well taken care. Please don't expect luxury from this place, but yes you can enjoy the location, ambiance and hospitality of people.
As I mention in my all the reviews for Himachal Tourism hotels, Please upgrade your properties. you have excellent hotels across the state however it's dated and need urgent renovation across.

Good Place in Manali

Hadimba Cottages is located on Hadimba Temple Road which goes towards the temple. The rooms are clean and spacious and the view is excellent. The cottages are independent from each other so the privacy is good.
