Beautiful Society, Well Maintained Rooms
on Jan 26, 2017
I stayed in Greenwood Meadows Apartments from 20-January-2017 to 24-January-2017. I had visited Goa for the first time with my family of 7 pax and I must say that my decision to book this apartment was right.
We had booked two 1BHK flats and both were very well maintained. Room Service guy came twice in four days as per the commitment.
All in all if you are visiting Goa in a large group of friends or family and wish to have luxurious stay alongwith peaceful surrounding then Greenwood Meadows is really worth it.

I would recommend to choose for a 2 star hotel instead of this apartment. We stayed here for 4 days 18 to 22 Oct 2016.. and believe me no room service was there even in 4 days no one cleaned our room EEUUU DIRTY.. as far as kitchen is concern they didn't provide us tea kettle, electric stove, when I called the owner he said he will provide the same next day.
There were glasses, spoons, plates etc but all dirty, you have to wash them yourself. When we first entered in room, it was smelling like HELL.
One day when we returned in apartment late night we found bedroom was locked from inside.. I called the owner he said it's your fault you people will have to sleep in drawing room THIS WAS DIGUSTING, I paid for that??? When I argued then he resolved the problem.
Swimming pool is just show piece... You can not enter in it without purchasing nylon swimming cloths provided by them.
They spoil my leisure Time. Please don't go for it.
Service apartments in Candolim, located 3-4 kms away from beach

We stayed in Greenwood meadows in Jan 2014, and actually booked a service apartment directly with the owner for 5 days. Cost was Rs. 3000 per day.
This particular apartment itself was very stunning. It was a 1 BR apartment with a separate drawing cum kitchenette. Total apartment size was about 500 sq feet.
Electric Induction top , fridge, basic induction utensils, tea/ coffee maker, AC in both rooms, antique furniture, very cosy bed, and some great wardrobe were some of the highlights.
The flat had a view to the swimming pool. The apartments do have a gym cum sauna. The flat was cleaned every 2nd day by the care taker, who could also arrange bikes, cars, daily essentials - more of a handy man!
The only disappointment was that the swimming pool was non-operational for 4 out of 5 days, and it seemed that the onsite maintenance team did this on purpose. It is a big let down and loss of value for guests, who would definitely give an average rating for this. I have no complaints for the actual flat itself... it is just that the facilities provided by the society is not upto the mark, even per Goan standards. You just cannot have a non-functional pool in Goa, it is a strict NO-NO.
The gym equipment was there and available in the club. It was supposed to be opened every evening- however we got the impression that no one really used it, it was usually dark most of the time.
There was also construction going around the apartments - mostly for covered parking I think.
Since most of the owners of the properties either reside in Mumbai or abroad, I think the property maintenance team takes the guests and old residential couples for a ride and provide all excuses. In fact on 1 day, the motor pump stopped working and you could see everyone hauling water from the pool to have a bath in their apartments - what an enthralling experience! We didn't mind it though- we city folks needed the exercise.
All in all, I would have given this a 'Very Good' rating had it not been for the swimming pool.
Good worth for long stay

Note: This is apartment and not hotel, review is based on that.
Worth staying for big group of friends and long stay... This are apartments and so do not expect service, but it's like your own house stay, all basic facilities provide in kitchen, has refrigerator, AC in both room and sofa area + TV.
Good location, not too noisy and 15 min from main Candolim area. Please carry your own personal use items. In short good stay as an apartment and do not get confuse as hotel.
a HORRIBLE experience

We are regular visitors to Goa and visit at least once every year.Unfortunately until this year, we hadn't come across an arrangement this bad. Greenwood Meadows is highly overrated and provides absolute nonsense accommodation. Needless to mention the costing does no justice to the offerings. The rooms offered to us was in a pathetic condition with spider web and dust all over the place. The bathrooms had wet dirty mops stuffed behind the door with empty used sachets of shampoo all over the place. Apparently the house keeping had cleaned the room, before offering to us. The house was a mess and a complete disappointment.
