Huge apartment in typical Indian style
on Mar 24, 2019
This apartment was in Block A2, room 6 on the second floor, though its not got a number on it, and is the only one owned by Winifred at Green Peace. Huge apartment in typical Indian style, with modern features, a decent sized kitchen including a microwave and a TV in the bedroom with 2000 channels including 7 you might find interesting! English news channels.Big fridge freezer was most useful. Comfy large bed, cleaning every third day, and with old fashioned style Indian sofa in the living room. The pool was great but didnt have sunbeds, so we bought our plastic chairs down and my lilo. I could say that most things needed updating but everywhere Ive been in India that is the case. For £17 a night it was good value. I would stay here again but I would have to have a sunbed next time. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby in the bustle of Candolim. Oh, mega friendly cows everywhere make the walks around much more interesting. The place was possibly the most friendly place Ive stayed at. Everyone was great, stopped for a chat, gave advice and tips. Some long stayers and some here for 2 weeks plus the odd English owner. Most enjoyable stay.

Stayed here Jan/feb 2015 , ground floor one bedroom apartment , very rustic what you see is what you get type of place but nice & clean , we had a good sized bedroom , a living room , kitchen & bathroom , can't mind if we had air-con but can remember having two large ceiling fans , one in living room and the other in our bedroom which we left on low during the night , quiet enough to sleep through , well kept garden areas around buildings and a nice private pool for guests only , situated away from main rd so very quiet , only bad thing I could say was the bread man doing his delivery to the hotel next door every morning before the birds were up honking his pushbike horn several times until he was attended to .

I am surprised this place is so under rated and hardly has any reviews. I have been staying here since last 8 years, every year i have a trip to goa and make sure i stay here. Sabby the Owner, manager is a great person. Rooms are clean and neat. 1 bedroom apartments with parking.
Location is just off Candolim road but not a great issue as i have been here so many times.
Till date no hassle at all.
Surely a must stay place if you are not looking for sheer luxury.
There is a swimming pool which is always clean and can be used.
So over all awesome place to stay in.
Can bring your food and have it, not much options when it comes to food or breakfast been served.
