    ok for short stay, not so friendly staff

    I had booked a room through oyo rooms . The room was small but decent enough for a short stay for 2 people. the reception staff were least helpful. Encountered 3 different staff during our stay out of which 2 just ignored our queries and answered only after multiple attempts to get their attention. that too in a way as if the just wanted to get us off their backs. All in all an ok place for stay with reception staff with slightly unprofessional etiquette.... More

    I booked this hotel via oyorooms and stayed for 3 nights in May 16. It's a 10-15 min walk to Egmore station, 5 by auto. The checkin/checkout time(if booked via oyo) was 8 am/7am and they aggressively pushed it at us. The rooms at 2nd and 3rd floor are around 1499(was around 1100 when booked via oyo) and that is what you get when booked via oyo. The rooms on the 1st floor is for around 995. The rooms were clean with clean towels, soaps, bedsheets, a/c worked fine, hot-water shower, toilets were ok. Free breakfast is provided, which is at a nearby hotel(golden tower). Inspite of reminding the reception to take care of housekeeping when we left every morning, nothing was done. As we wanted the room on the last day till 10pm, we made another booking on the first floor just to keep the luggage and have a shower. The drainage in the bathroom was left open with water not clearing and windows open which led to lots of mosquitoes entering the room. We asked for a different room to have shower which they promptly accepted. You can also call them and have your booking confirmed if booking privately.... More

    I stayed in this hotel on two occassions on 28 dec 15 and 2 jan 16 both the times toilets were not found cleaned properly with fittings all loose rusted and leaky which made it messy to use toilet. Rooms are ok with AC working, but room service is not to talk about, this hotel does not have its own restaurant and food is brought from somewhere else with money paid in advance and you will have to shell out extra for using room dining as they charge you for using their plates. Walls of hotel room are dampy and smelly. It is closely located to railway stn and you have ask cab to drop you to golden tower. Lot of small eatries are located in and around hotel you can get your food in hotel and use disposable plates for dining. I did this booking from Oyo and costed me 1000 bucks for AC room with fixed breakfast menu idli wada and poori bhaji. All in all good for staying for 1 night, but if you came to visit chennai only you should try hotels opposite marina beach.... More

    We stayed there with Family for two nights and experience during first day was horrible with lot of smell and A/c problem, We asked for a change of room and moved in to another room . Experience in second room was OK and not horrible as the first one. They charged around 1500 per day , Opt this hotel only if you want some quick place to stay for one night for a Transit.... More

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
