Went to the Goan cafe and resort, with my partner had a two bedroom apartment which was very clean and comfortable with air con ,they where upgrading the electric supply in the area while I was there. Owners and staff at the Goan cafe were very friendly and welcoming and very attentive if any staff walked past my room they would always acknowledge me with a hello everything ok?. The place is kept very clean and the main restaurant serves a good menu also they have a beach bar where you can order anything from the main menu and have it there which was my favourite place to eat the delicious food they served, the view from there was amazing looking out over the Indian Ocean would definitely be going back next year.

Been coming to the Goan cafe and resort for 21 years many things have changed in that time Goa has changed in that time.
but a visit to the Goan cafe n resort is like coming home, the best food, service, hospitality and company can always be found hear, any one considering a trip to Goa must have a sense of patience as it often has power outages that are way beyond the control of the owners but these guys are one step ahead of the others locally as they have their own generator.
The food is amazing and and they fish daily, all the food is fresh daily and prepared by the two very experienced chefs.
Reception captain is always on hand and nothing is ever to much trouble for VJ weather it arranging scooter hire or getting your room cleaned he's on it.
On this visit the owners had invested in a new beach side juice bar and Resturant with uninterrupted views of the sea which are amazing.
All in all a tranquil and restful holiday awaits you at the Goan cafe n resort I be going agin this year and again at Easter see you all there ⛱💯

My husband and I went there twice, the first time in 2015 and all was good enough, it is a beautiful place, with nice cottages, few steps by the beach, but not so accurate in the service and the food is in the average. We decided to come back this year and we booked a specific room for 10 days (the one we stayed) for the first three days this wasn't available so we asked for another one with the use of the kitchen and they sayd there were no problem but when we arrive there was no kitchen in the available room and no fridge so we had to store our food in the heat for three days. Then we were very upset when they told us the room we booked wasn't available anymore because the guests already there extended their stay.. That is not professional. Those nights we also had to listen our drunk neighbours shouting and laughing all night long so that we couldnt sleep and when we complained about it with the staff, they didnt even try to speak with their noisy impolite guests. We finally had to leave the place and look for another place in the middle of the high season, wasting half day of our holiday time. This place has a great potential but they have to learn to work professionally, they almost ruined our holiday!
Awesome!!! This is a must stay place for .....

A must stay place for those people who are travelling to Goa seeking some quiet & relaxed time staying very close to the nature. Not for the first time Goa visitors who want to experience the famous nightlife (which you should) in the likes of Calangute & Baga Beach.
This resort is located midway between Morjim and Ashvem beach. Easily locatable on Google maps. As there was a 10 minutes delay in our check in, hotel owner offered us soft drinks and also gave a complimentary water bottle during checkout for our journey towards airport. Did not expect this gesture and the hospitality from entire staff was overwhelming. None of the request was turned down be it asking for extra mattresses, setting up a candle light table on beach (no extra charges) or any specific request for food that we ordered. Smiles all around. I was never more happier with the service on any other resort or shack during my earlier 4 visits to Goa.
Food is awesome. We thought we would try our other restaurants nearby but eventually we didn't. Breakfast is complimentary with limited menu but still good enough to start your day. Menu is not too hard on pocket either. Hotel staff can arrange cabs, scooties etc.
The only bad thing about the stay was the maintenance of the Tree house (more of wooden cottage). Though it was an amazing experience staying in that cottage with sea visible from balcony, the maintenance could have been much better. Almira was in bad shape (almost unusable), there were spider webs all around the bathroom and to add, there were 2 rats (the big ones) running all around throughout the night which was sometimes scary. Overall, the resort (which is huge) was properly cleaned and managed.
In spite of having above issues, I cannot stop myself giving this resort a 5 star. They also have other accommodations like apartments, wooden cottages etc which looked good too from outside. Definitely going to stay here again during my next visit.
