a good get away from city
on Feb 21, 2018
I had booked Luxury Room with Mountain View and Jacuzzi.
Awesome and well furnished rooms. All imported furniture and amenities were excellent. The infinity pool was awesome but not climate controlled!! the water was damn cold. Road to this resort is a night mare, but the view and service is awesome.
Food were bit overpriced. Jacuzzi was awesome. Staff and service were excellent
This resort is quite far from any shops or stuffs so make sure you carry enough.
Verdict: A good resort but slightly overpriced!

Glyngarth resort is a beautiful property and is a feast to the eyes. The valley view from the resort is mesmerizing and the infinity pool is amazing. The only drawback we felt was the lack of activities other than the swimming pool. Being away from the city, we wanted to spend most of the time in the resort. We had a small kid with us whom we could not allow to run around the resort as the terrain is quite steep everywhere in the resort. We booked the rooms with Jacuzzi which was a big plus, as we spent a lot of time in the Jacuzzi.
The staff were very courteous and attended to every single request with a smile.
A memorable stay

It’s a heaven in itself!!!
What a amazing location in between the Nilgiris.
The rooms are neat and clean and have all the luxurious interior. Thank you Mr Kiran for the room decoration and arranging a candle light dinner on my wife’s birthday.
Also thanking Mr Gautam and the entire staff who make a mark by giving the best service.
Will surely visit again.
An Overrated Resort
on Dec 27, 2017
After reading a lot of excellent reviews, we decided to visit this resort only to feel little disappointed and underwhelmed by the whole experience.
Accessibility : This resort is not very near to Ooty and we had to take a complete deviation from the Ooty route to reach this place from Bangalore. The road leading to the resort was in a pathetic state and driving on that road was no less than a nightmare. The worst part is that the resort has no name plate or name board for people to figure out which building is the resort. The Google Maps doesn't help you much in the last 1km and adding to the misery was the narrow pathway(I won't even call it a road) where we struggled to even walk till the resort, forget about driving the car. There was no other parking option available to avoid the bad stretch. Our car got little damaged while coming back from the resort. When we explained the resort staff about what all we had to go though to reach the place, they were not even apologetic about it. By the time we reached the resort, we were exhausted. Please check the road condition before booking this resort.
Rooms : The room was spacious and well maintained. No complaints.
Food : The complimentary breakfast for average and lunch/dinner was decent enough.
Summary : There are not many activities to do in the resort. Except the view of Nilgiri Hills from the resort and a beautiful infinity pool, there is nothing extraordinary about this highly priced resort. Not worth the money spent.
Beautiful property away from the city

After having looked at many properties, we zeroed down on Glyngarth Resorts for friends and family trip. The point of contact for us was Ms. Kiran. He called us regularly to guide us the way to the resort as the last stretch is rough and confusing.
You forget all the pain of the travel once you reach the resort. It is impressive. The sitting area, the restaurant is tastefully done. During our stay, we spent a lot of time here. Food tastes good though a bit pricey.
We had opted for Mountain view rooms and pool side rooms. The rooms have all the basic amenities and the best part is the mesmerizing view from the room. Pool side rooms and Suites have private Jacuzzi. We got to meet the owner of the resort and he mentioned that the rooms were designed by an Italian architect and the resort was built by a Dubai based company.
Relaxing by the Infinity pool, bon fire, pool BBQ is what we enjoyed the most. Kids enjoyed archery and basket ball in the small designated play area for the kids. They also enjoyed swimming in spite of the cold weather and mist.
We were a large group of 5 families and stayed there from 28th Sep to 1st Oct. The company of friends and stay at this wonderful property made our stay a memorable one. It just didn't end there. When we came back and shared the pictures with our other friends, most of them put this resort on their "to visit" list.
Thanks team for a wonderful hospitality!
