Excellent place for vacation

Looked a bit far while i tried to book but convinced after reading their reviews in trip advisor . This is one of the most beautiful place to hide out from your stress and you will be treated like a king here and your kids are the prince and princess . They focus lot on the kids as they mention this as a kids friendly resort and true to their claim they have a lot here to enjoy . The food is also based on kids once you take two meals you will realise this . The staffs are so helpful and always soft spoken . The villa Dutch which we stayed has very good view and nice interiors . It seems they are increasing the amenities and i believe if everything comes to picture then this will be the best resort in the zone .
Hotel with good views and courteous people
on Jun 4, 2017
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my kid aged 4 years. I have booked for a white pent house. But after reaching there I found it small since it had only a room with attached toilet and a sit-out. When I expressed this to the manager he was polite enough to give me a Arab room. But because of the noise from the birds nest, I was again offered another room called Vatican glory, which had a huge hall with attached bath, BR with attached bath.
The place had a beautiful small garden with a sit out which had amazing view of the hills. I stayed in this place for 1 night. The next day since they were laying rocks near our room we were again shifted to chettinaad durbar which was much more beautiful with open terrace, garden and sit out. It was tough indeed to keep shifting but still they helped us a lot and made this experience happy.
Kids were given first preference and they made dishes to make my kid happy. They had open projector screen where they played movie as per my kids choice. We loved it. Evening they had campfire as well.
What we felt bad was the noise around the resort during early morning since people around the village were playing music and causing lot of disturbances.
They dint have buffet for breakfast since there were no much crowd but whatever they gave was amazing.
Evening snacks were awesome. we wanted to have more and more.
When it comes to south indian dishes they were amazing cooks but other dishes were not so good.
They are building new playstation for kids. They have rabbits, goat, love birds for the kids to have fun with. They are constructing swimming pool as well. They have a play area for kids. Soft archery, shuttle bats, cricket bats etc. Everything is done so well for the kids.
Tiny things yet to be improved in the room. The glasses had soap smell. Hot water was not coming properly on the day of check out in chettinaad durbar. They need to have dressing tables in the rooms which was missing. The music being played from temples and around the resort has to be taken care of. Please provide pedestal fans atleast.
If they fix all the above the hotel will definitely become a home away from home.
Kudos to everyone who made us feel special. Thanks!
Wonderful place for holiday

I have never seen such a wonderful place like this , after traveling a huge distance from Goa this is a treat to your eyes . Booked after reading the reviews in trip advisor my family decided to go for it . Looks a bit far away from ooty but a good decent road leads to this place . The staffs are so courteous and they really make your stay comfortable and restaurant as mentioned " anytime " is a amazing concept which is to be a more attractive . Food is good and the operation manager rajesh is too good . Will surely recommend this to all my friends .
Innovative resort for families:

First I would like to thank the management for keeping this resort alcohol free campus , right after entering the resort one could see the policy board specifically mentioning Non Alcoholic zone . My wife was quiet surprised to see this .
1. The outdoor is amazing and lush green environment
2. lot of kids play
3. Food & service
4. Suite space
5. Non alcoholic campus
6. Customized kids food
7. Kids complementary food packing
8. Campfire, BBQ , Night life
9. Care in Food selection ( Jain Food )
10. Pet animal feeding by kids ( Rabbit , parrot , etc )
1. 10 kms from ooty
2. Rs 500 for pick up & Drop
This is all about this resort to my fair concern .
Good but can certainly be better

We had stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed every bit of it for views and climate. Though the service by Rajesh is exceptional, I must be transparent to my fellow travellers on few things to take care of too.
Value for money
Woman empowerment - They have employed lot of ladies and I am sure they are doing a good job.
Good for families : No alcohol allowed
Food is average and bit spicy (few may like it that way). Our first day lunch was horrible.
Barbecue & Camp Fire- Waste of time and money. They will charge you for something which isn't even worth spending.
Room Keeping: One area they must improve is how to keep up the room ready for a guest. We almost always had to remind them for towels, water bottles and to refill the tea/coffee maker sachets.
Low on maintenance of the surroundings, they must work on this too, cut grown up grass as it isn't safe. We had found Millipedes, spiders and flies in the room. Was creepy.
Space: Small resort with limited amenities. Nothing much to do except enjoy the nature.
Communication: They are bit low on communication except Rajesh (Resort Manager), rest of them don't understand English or Hindi much. They always missed an item or two from our orders.
Though good to stay, but not exceptional in any way. Only respite is the way Rajesh takes care of his guests. He must train his team too on doing it right the first time.
