    When a family plans a trip to any destination, comfort, hygiene, and accessibility remain the key elements that they base their decision to choose a hotel on. For us too these three were important. Though accessibility wasn't really a problem since we had a vehicle, the other two were pretty disappointing. From the way their rooms look to the way they manage their customers' problems, everything is a crap. If you are someone who looks forward to a very comfortable stay in a hotel while on a holiday, avoid this property at any cost. Also, if you just add 1000 bucks in the amount this hotel charges for a room, you'll be able to book yourself in many other beautiful places that you can trust. And the biggest setback in Forest Haven is their restaurant, which was probably built decades ago.... More

    Worst staff fraud and cheaters. Upon bill payment tried to cheat by dropping three 2000 RS notes under the counter and demanded the same again. When caught red handed all united from owner to manager and staff started misbehaving and bullying as it is situated at an isolated place with no or poor mobile tower connectivity and hotel wifi is worst. We were with family and felt terrified. Advising all not to go there ever and entangle in such a horrifying situation.... More

    1. Terrific experience. 2. Though they claim but no geiser under working condition in their hotel. 3. Beware paying money in cash. While counting they would drop some currency notes and will demand more money. If you resist they would threaten you to face dire consequences as some of the staff and one manager have strong influence in that area. Hence except paying more money you don't have any other option. 4. It's in deep forest. Your network will be restricted by the hotel so that you may not be available to make or receive calls. Only after coming out of the hotel you would be able to make calls. 5. It's a humble request to please stay away from 5his hotel especially when you are on family trip.... More

    Staff of this hotel is just like theaf. Wants to take advantage of being locals. Tried to take extra money by creating scene in front of my family.they tried to cheat us and also blocked cctv camera there so that the place of incident couldn't be covered.... More

    These guys are dacoits. We never expected this at any hotel. When we paid the bill, they dropped 3 notes of Rs2000/- and said amt is less. When we quarell, the 3 notes were found underneath the reception counter. They are thrives. Beware. They must be jailed.... More

Overview

Located 89 km from the Cochin International Airport, Forest Haven Resort is set amidst cardamom plantations in the vicinity of the reserve forest of Kallar. The hotel has 24 comfortable rooms. All the rooms are equipped with telephone, television, bathroom with running hot and cold water and room service. There is an internet connection available in the room on request. Few of the rooms also have a balcony.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
