Our stay at the Foghills cottages has been a wonderful one.
The location is excellent with a picturesque view of the majestic Himalayas. The gardens in the hotel provide ample of opportunity to sit or swing and simply soak in the mesmerising ambience of the towering peaks all around, along with the neighbouring fruit orchards.
The hotel room was clean, well maintained and provided a beautiful view of the snow clad landscape.
The service of the hotel is very good and professional. The staff is very warm and hospitable.
This property is probably located at one of the highest parts of Manali,
For those who want to relax and get a liberating experience in the lap of Mother Nature,or want to proceed to a trek to Hampta pass, this is the place to be in.
I would highly recommend this property to all travellers planning to spend a relaxing vacation in Manali.
Simply awesome...Must Visit

Location: Prini (about 3-4 km from Manali). It is convenient to move around to nearby places from here. One can avoid the traffic of Manali.
Rooms: Simply Gorgeous. Very aesthetically made with rich wooden interiors and decorated with beautiful paintings. Typically, A common hall with two attached individual, self-content rooms.
The common hall has a fireplace, a dinning table and a sofa with side table along with a flatscreen TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen, if you wish to buy fresh vegetables from local market and cook food. You need to pay extra to use the kitchen.
Individual rooms are awesome. King size bed with necessary beddings to keep you warm. Some rooms have wooden flooring. Nice French windows that gives a beautiful view of the valley. In case you need some privacy, you can use nice thick curtains along the windows. Each individual room has a TV. The room is big enough to accommodate an additional occupant. The bath is big, spacious and equipped with the necessary accessories. There is 24 hours supply of hot water. Each room has a heater which is powered-on as per the hotel’s specified time window. The rooms are best place to be in when you are not enjoying the outdoor adventure.
Service: The staff is very good. Extremely polite, prompt and helpful.
The Manager, Mr.Prakash, provided us with all the necessary help during our stay at the hotel as well as regarding our queries regarding the nearby tourist places.
We were also offered hot water bags as an additional means to keep us warm at night.
Clothes washing and ironing services are available (additional charges).
Restaurant: The hotel has their own restaurant that serves you with breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast throughout our stay. We were also served with a local delicacy, Siddu, during our stay.
The “buffet” and “A la carte” dinner services were good.
Premises: The hotel has a welcome area along the reception. A small garden nearby. Parking space available is limited. But the hotel staff will see to it that your parking need is accommodated. The hotel is built very beautifully and is as you see in the pictures.
Enjoyed our stay at Manali with Fog hills cottages.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights in mid September, travelling with friends.
The things we loved about our stay:
- breathtaking scenery
- clean and well maintained property
- attentive and caring staff
- good food and great variety as well
- great location (a little secluded from the main road, albeit quieter and more peaceful - perfect for us!).
Even before arriving in Foghills, Mr Prakash (the property manager) was available and happy to address the many questions we had about our travels (which was key considering the travel conditions i.e. roads to Manali). He also organised transportation for us from Chandigarh. The driver was skillful and knew the terrain well, which made us feel safe. It was our first time travelling in such conditions. Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to Mr Prakash's attention to detail and care in managing our booking and organising the stay in Manali. His staff were also friendly and always happy to assist with whatever we needed.
Very peaceful and great place to stay!

Great stay during June 2018.
Spacious and clean rooms. 3 year old property. Well managed. Very helpful staff.
Food is really good and they can customise it for you.
There are just 2-3 hotels around this place and I don't see more coming there due a Hydro Power project near the hotel.
Pros - Quite and peaceful place. Approx 6 kms away from Mall Road.
Cons - In peak season - it take as much as 45 mins to go to Mall Road from this hotel
Personally - I would prefer to stay near Mall Road if I am travelling in Off-peak season.
For peak-season, this place is like heaven! :-)
