    It would be an insult to all the guest houses to call Falcon Guest House as a guest house. While rooms are OK, you'd get to see the plaster peeling off from the walls due to damp. The bedsheets and bedcovers have stains of tea, oil, pan and even semen. The choice of food is very limited and there is no fixed menu. They charge you whatever they want for food. The final bill be a shock for you, if you haven't kept a track of what you have eaten. You can often see groups of people consuming alcohol openly within the guest house premises which could be a matter of concern for the ladies. The airconditioning in the rooms is pathetic and noisy. Bathrooms are badly maintained with leaking flushes. The rooms are infested with cockroaches and spiders. Food is often served in dirty and cracked melamine dishes. The owner who also lives there is a smooth talker but hardly attends to your problems. Not recommended at all.... More

    Locational advantage.. no star rating applicable..more of an Indian home..than a hotel..as British landed first in Kolkata (Calcutta earlier), most speak English..for "one night stand"..bed and breakfast, it is good. Centrally located between new airport (New Town) and the IT area (Salt lake)..parking is a pain though..... More

    Stayed in Falcon Guest House from 7th July,2016 to 10th July, 2016. Was given room no.103 on the ground floor. My feedback: 1. The room was damp 2. The bathroom was extremely small with no windows 3. The bathroom was dirty and smelly 4. The Air Conditioner in the room barely worked. Had to keep it at 18 Degrees and then it took 3 hours to cool the room 5. The bed sheets and pillow covers were torn and dirty. They had all types of stains 6. Had ordered 2 cups of tea for which I was charged Rs.100. Isn't that way too steep considering its a small guest house? Summing up; I was extremely disappointed and I will never recommend this guest house. There are way better hotels/guest houses in Kolkata.... More

    Only positive points are location and air conditioning. Else everything was below normal. Walls and doors were very dirty. We opted for balcony room but there is no separate balcony. Dinner was so so. I will not recommend this hotel to stay.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
