Stunning view from the room!

We stayed here for three nights and it is in a great location - so near to the town, temples and palace and overlooking the fabulous Lake Pichola!
On arrival you notice the swimming pool right near to the reception - very strange place for it and it was a bit murky and didn't look at all inviting!
Our room was really big and bright with lovely Rajasthan style windows with a stunning view of the lake - the best thing about staying here! There was a built-in window seat and it was so nice to just sit and admire the view. We also liked the decoration on the ceiling and walls which looked lovely.
The bathroom wasn't so great, a bit mouldy and not very clean. Also there is no hot water unless you ring down to reception and ask them to switch it on for you!! We didn't realise this the first day and ended up with a cold shower. The towels and bed linen are also well past their best.
Breakfast was on the roof terrace which also had the most amazing view. Unfortunately, the food didn't really match the view - the first day it was ok, the second day not so great!
However, I do have to say that despite all of the above, the place had a certain charm, most of the staff were friendly and we did have a lovely time in Udaipur.
Wonderful stay !

We've had a GREAT Time in this wonderful typical place. Very good situation on the
Old City, nearby the lake, with a beautiful view from the Roof top restaurant. Very near theJagdish temple and the City Palace.

The staff here are so nice . Manager Vickram looked after us very well. It's a budget hotel and could do with a bit of TLC. But the staff make up for a lot. The view is amazing from the rooftop restaurant . Only one niggle was music could be very loud at times in the restaurant . Food was good here . Hotel arranged a guide for us that worked out very well.

Perfect location, nice and comfortable room, very good cleaning. The best view of the lake. Excellent restaurant on the terrace, very good food, music and staff attention. I liked it a lot, I'll go back there.

We were warmly greeted by the Owner and the over powering smell of paint. Looking at the pool you wouldn't want to swim in it any way. Our rooms were very good with everything required. Our room overlooked the jetty area which was a shame as this was where the third festival of our three night stay ended. We had now power for that evening as they needed to light the streets, the noise was horrendous and went on until 2a.m. Needless to say sleep was not an option.
If you do visit this hotel I would make sure you do not go on a festival date.
The restaurant was very good and the views stunning but I was not too fussed on the dogs walking around all the time.
