    We visited this property last week on one of our friends recommendation.Our experience was exceptionally great.Our room was so clean & organized.The view was absolutely mesmerising from our room as well as the restaurant. The staff are immensely helpful.All of them were so well trained, courteous & knowledgeable. The highlight of our trip were the owners, Mrs.Yasmine Irani & Mr.Sheriar Irani.They took extreme personal care of us & our 6 years old son & no wonder why all the guests were addressing them as...Mamma & Papa.It was truly a home away from home experience, I would definitely recommend this mesmerising property to everyone, because of the great people, excellent location & value for money....     Terrible resort, poor service and no facility

    We checked into this resort 19th March and checked out on 21st march, 2017. just agree that it has new paint, that's all. 1. They do not accept payment card. if audited their account they are cheating Government in VAT. 2. Waiters do not want to serve you. 3. NO Internet, NO TV 4. Owner of resort are aged couple, rude and arrogant behaviour, may be people respect their age and they take benefit of that. 5. They charged VAT on everything however proper invoice was not issued. I have couple of invoice which I will upload on government site if anyone can investigate them. 6. The worse thing was their check out time is 10:00 AM, Normally it is 12:00 PM anyway they did not accept late check out request even though most of rooms were not booked.I need to go out to spend time with my young son. Last but not least, Not recommended at all. Please do not spoil your holiday just because of your respect to arrogant aged couple.... More

    Not worth it at all

    The only thing good about this resort is it's outer beauty..the freshly painted walls and the tiny figurines.. I actually booked the place because i found it pretty from outside..inside it's a different story..the toilet has no exhaust and opens up into the bedroom(the ceiling wall of the bathroom opens towards the bedroom) so you can imagine the smell that lingers all the time in the bedroom...the toilets were stained and hadn't been cleaned well or replaced in the last 30 years...there was no toilet paper..the rooms were mediocre..tiny..pillows a little yellow and uncomfortable .. they need to seriously change the interiors..the price they charge is so not worth it..also the pool closes at 6 pm and opens at 10 am..it's like i m visiting a strict household..it would have been a good experience if the rooms would have been similar to what the outside looks like..disappointed 😭...     This hotel has the best location in town. Beautiful beach front and great view of the sunset. I am curious why more people do not come as it is well maintained and has very friendly owners. Only complaint is that they do not accept card, which is annoying, so bring cash. ... More

Overview

Respite from monotonous routine and everyday tensions! Empire Beach Resort is situated in the serene surroundings of Calangute in Goa. The resort offers a swimming pool and bar to enjoy the pool side. The resort offers 25 rooms and guests can feel the spectacular beaches and breathtaking view from the room. It has amenities like cable television, limited hour room service and many more comforts. Empire Beach Resort has in house restaurant which serves Indian cuisine along with the local Goan cuisine. Ample of parking space is available at the premises of the guest house. The resort is well connected to the famous beach like Candolim 3 km, Vagador 5 km, Anjuna 3 km and Baga Beach is 1 km from the property.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
