    Good location and view but...

    This was my 2nd trip to Munnar. Having previously stayed in "The Leaf" resort, I picked Elysium as this is closer to market and most of the attractions. Pros - as I said, this hotel is close to market and attractions. Views are good and property is well maintained from outside. Cons - I felt like I was staying in hotel and not in resort as there were no activities. May be because it was low season in Sept, but gym was under renovation, of 3 days we stayed, not even a single day they had buffet breakfast. Quality of food is okay but leaves lot to improve being a premium resort. For 3 adults, they gave us a really small room. 2nd day we asked for bigger room and the request was accommodated. The room was good but bathroom could use an upgrade. Also, they have fixed timing for hot water which could be inconvenient for some guests.... More

    The hotel is located outside the town on Munnar, about twenty minutes by foot. The road into Munnar from the hotel is not as busy as other areas but it is still a hair raising experience to walk into the town. The hotel has picturesque views over the valley. The rooms are acceptable with a large covered in balcony. The corridors and stairways give the impression you are in a rabbit warren, going in all directions. The staff are helpful and attentive.     Stayed in the third week of May'19 with my family. the property is well maintained with flowers all around. Rooms are spacious and clean. There was only one plug point at the corner, where you use the kettle, charge multiple phones and cameras, and is highly inconvenient. The balcony at the back looks old and rusty, whereas the balcony at the front is spic and span. Food is nice, buffet breakfast has enough choices.     We had excellent stay at Elisium Garden.Senior executive Sundar made all the arrangements for us right from our arrival at Ernakulam to Munnar and our stay at the property.Even during our stay he was very cooperative and helpful thanks Mr.Sundar for your service. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
