    We booked a room in Gracia's Laz Guest House for 5 nights over Christmas, however two weeks before our check in date, Ganesh contacted us and said he no longer had any availability and that he was moving us to Duke's Villa for the same dates and price. Duke's Villa is quiet and out of the way, near Miramar beach, about a 30 minute walk to the actual city of Panjim, though it was easy enough to get to by bus. Right after we checked in and paid, we were shown the room. As we were putting our bags down, we received a knock on the door and the caretaker told us we hadn't given him enough money. We had both counted it out on arrival and we're pretty sure it was all there, but he refused to leave until we gave him another ₹500, so watch out for this and don't make the same mistake of not getting a receipt. The room itself was very basic, it was quite stuffy and there was mold on the roof. Both the fan and air-conditioner were VERY loud, and the sounds of the air-conditioners could be heard all through the place. The double bed was just two very old, hard single beds pushed together, one of which was warped. The bathroom was very, very hot and the windows wouldn't close meaning mosquitoes got in and though the shower pressure was good, the water cut in and out and was cold most of the time. We had to ask for towels and they were very old and very stained. The staff were generally unfriendly and it didn't feel very welcoming. I suppose over Christmas in somewhere like Panjim, it's difficult to find decent budget accommodation. If you're OK with basic, this isn't a bad place, but it probably wasn't worth what we paid, and we felt uncomfortable for the length of our stay.... More

    We stayed in Dukes Villa during our city trips to Goa . The rooms are big & spacious & have all the basic amenities inside the same. The food options, sift beverages, smoothies etc are really great and they have a wide variety of options to chose from. However, the hotel does not have any activities which can be done at that place. The location is also convenient.... More

    The place is very good but food quality and customer service are not at all good. We needed to have food outside only. The room lock was very bad. we needed to call someone every time we go and come from and to the room. So we were not at all happy with the service of these guys.... More

    Bad customer service, good space

    We repeatedly had trouble with the customer service. As one example, my wife and I were departing later than her parents and we told the office that we would pay the remaining bill later in the day before we departed. When her parents tried to depart mid-day the mangement demanded full payment and withheld their luggage. (Note: we had already pre-paid 90% of the bill) This left them with little money for their journey home. There were other problems as well. Although, I would not recommend this place because the problems we had with the management - the space itself is nice. Note that the location (Mirimar beach) is not that great. I would recommend you go to the northern beaches if you are a party person or the southern beaches if you are more relaxed or family-oriented. I would also recommend avoiding Goa from mid-Dec to mid-Jan, as it is too crowded and expensive.... More

This 3 Star retreat is situated just a stone's throw away from the pristine beaches of Miramar. It houses eight rooms with a home-like ambiance, and is surrounded by lush greenery. On the third floor, there is a covered open-air terrace space, which is used as a common breakfast area. Guests have easy accessibility to important sightseeing spots, as Panaji is only a short walk away from the resort. Magsons Supercentre and INOX - the multiplex - is just 5 minutes drive from the Villa.


Check in Check out

Hotel Check-in Time is 01 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
