Most friendly and helpful staffs ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future
Excellent stay and food - very good for nature lovers

We five persons stayed in Double Tree Villa for 4 nights in August 2017. The property is located in Suryanelly road, at a walking distance from Suryanelly. The location is very good, on the road, away from crowd and noise of town. We saw a deer and an elephant from the hotel itself. The place is surrounded by greenery and is close to Kolukkumalai - the highest tea plantations/factory in world.
Being a nature lover, I enjoyed daily morning and evening walks around the place as tea plantations and scenic waters/hills are on walking distance.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Rates are reasonable.
Salim manages the place very well. His guidance for Munnar sightseeing was very useful. He arranged for us cab for drop in no time.
One of most important factor about this place is food. In Kerala, it is usually difficult to get North Indian foods. However, Muthu, the cook in Double Tree Villa, is special as he can prepare delicious meals of all varieties - South Indian, Keralan and North Indian. We had good wheat chapaties and alu parathas here as well as traditional Keralan dishes (avial, thoran, etc), which were equally good. In fact, Muthu was very good in preparing food considering individual preferences of us.
Overall, I would give this place 5 points for location, hospitality and food. The rates are reasonable but may be high during peak season. It is also important to book it early during tourist season, especially during weekends.
Great Accommodation in reasonable price
